Introducing Ahoy Matey 102PB. This community is just outside the center of Port Aransas. It offers a fabulous slope entry pool, close to many of the restaurants, bars and shops that Port Aransas has to offer. This single story condo has two King suites, both with king size beds and full ensuite bath. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook your catch of the day. The colorful décor and exterior are a perfect compliment to a wonderful weekend or week in this condo. The condo offers 3 TV's and 3 DVD players. There is also an electronic fireplace in the living room. This unit is not pet friendly and smoking is permitted outside only. This is not a golf cart accessible property. Sorry, no pets allowed. There is parking for 3 cars max per the HOA. Any additional cars will be towed per the HOA. Come, Relax and Enjoy!!

Great place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay here. This unit had everything we needed and was very comfortable. I especially liked the bedrooms at opposite ends with ensuite bathrooms. Love the individual units as well.

No Golf Carts allowed!

Cute little cottage on the not so busy side of town..there were pros and cons to this .. No golf carts are allowed on this side ,therefore we were pretty disappointed that getting a cart rental would have been useless. and we were about 2 miles to most all the things to do which was nice for traffic but not so great cause we had to drive everywhere . Also BYOB!! Bring your own blankets! With sharing the place with another couple we had to turn the ac down at night and I froze every night. All they provide you with is an extremely thin cover and sheet . No extra blankets or even a throw are available. I called to see if I could get one sent to us but they said no. They had no extras . So just know if you get cold at night to bring more blankets with you. Also the bed needs a mattress pad as it’s pretty uncomfortable as well. Also , Can’t hardly use the pools. They don’t lock them up so every day we were there both were full with huge groups that came over from the hotel next door and from the adjacent beach homes in the area and they stayed at the main pool till at least midnight each night (even though they supposed to shut down by 11) ..I’m just glad we were not right by that main one as they played super loud rap music each night . Also no view of anything as the porch is in the coridoor ..Other than these things , everything else was good , updated and clean.

Cute and Tidy little Getaway!

The condo is located just inside the complex and had very convenient parking and access to the pool. The condo was next to a Valero which was convenient for snacks and ice. The space was clean and had everything you needed. The walkway to the condo is private which was nice as you did not see individuals outside of your windows, etc. The two rooms have king size beds and both rooms had adjoining bathrooms with showers. Very great place to stay and the price was reasonable!

It was really nice there. The one thing I would suggest would be to get more silverware. Good only for about 6 of each utensil. Pool was awesome. Thank you for letting us rent from you and giving us a discount price. Thank you, until next time. Denise

Limits caught - Red fish Great trip

Had a wonderful time in Port A - Room very clean - breaker had tripped when we arrived and had no light in bathroom. Called maintenance - they were there in 15 min and took care of problem Pool was great. Lots of channels available on TV for downtime.

Quick Get Away

I have been promising my teenage daughter we would go to the beach, but with many circumstances out of our control it didn’t seem it would happen. We finally had a break and even with Covid I found a condo that would allow us to book two nights (Thank you Port A Escapes) and off we went.
The trip over was quiet and the staff at PAEs were awesome. The condo was clean and had enough items to make us comfortable besides needing a blanket. Which I went and bought at a local store. The only problem we had was the mattresses were hard as rocks and very uncomfortable. My daughter finally moved to the couch. I would not book this condo again just for that reason.
Pools and the grounds were very well kept. Everyone we met (even at a six foot distance) were very nice. We felt very safe on the grounds. Check out was easy and again the staff especially Harry were awesome

Ahoy Matey 102 Stay

This is a nice condo with lots of living space. The king size beds in the bedrooms are really nice. The pull out sofa bed is not so good, but it's ok. There definitely needs to be a bigger trash can in the kitchen and trash cans at least in the bathrooms. We were constantly having to take out the trash. The main downside to this complex is that it is on 361 and you're not allowed to drive golf carts on 361. It's pretty treacherous to try to get across 361 to the roads you can drive on. Nice place, just not convenient for getting to and from the beach especially when you like to use a golf cart to do that. Nice new place, just not as close to the beach as I like to be.

Great Trip!!!

The condo was clean and had very comfortable beds. Kitchen was stocked with all necessary equipment. The only thing that could be improved is the trash can in the kitchen could be larger. Overall, my family had an excellent stay!!

2nd Annual PB102 Stay

We had an amazing time at PB102. The cottage was clean and well kept. The only concern was all the ants! When we arrived the carpet on the patio was covered with ants and they would not go away. We had to constantly spray the patio off so the kids could come outside. Also our parking spots were taken by the cleaning crew so we had to park at the hotel after a long day at the beach :(. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will be back next year.

We had a great stay at Ahoy Matey. The house was very clean..that is a huge deal for me! There was everything you needed kitchen-wise, all in new condition. Supplies & linens were plentiful. We rented a buggie, which made our stay very fun & having the extra parking spot for it was helpful. The only bummer was that the pools were a bit warm, but that is hard to avoid during August in South Texas! They were very nice, though..

A Great Time!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ahoy Matey, it had everything we needed...a blow dryer, blender, coffee maker, washer and dryer came in handy especially if you want to pack lightly. The place was clean and the furniture was very nice and up to date, we will definitely consider this place again!

Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Ahoy Matey at Pirate's Bay. This unit was beautiful and it was close to beach access roads. Best of all, this place was spotless and clean, which is very important to a germophobe like me. Also the gas station was so close you can walk to it if needed.

Fabulous Beach Vaca!!!

This was a new place for us so wasn't sure what to expect but WOW we were so delighted in Pirates Bay! The place we stayed The Ahoy Matey was awesome. Best of all it was really clean! I loved the outdoor sitting area where we had coffee ever morning. We were only minutes away from the beach, stores,resturants and shopping. I have already recommended this place to my friends and family. It's also pet friendly which is a huge plus for me.Thanks to Port A Escapes Ms. Brenda for finding us this remarkable place in such a short time. We Loved It and can't wait to go back.
