End of Summer Bliss

Everything was great except for a couple of things. There were water bugs and roaches in the unit. It's been dry. They were probably looking for water. We killed the ones we found. The plug out the back door doesn't work, and the water pressure in the unit was very low. Not sure if there is a water limiter in the faucets so there isn't so much water being used. It was very hard to rinse off or wash your hair.

Nice place!

We had 9 adults and two kids( 3&1). Rooms were a little tight, but lots of space in living/ dining areas for us all to be. Easy access to beach as it is located just off an access road, you could walk , but it’s a little bit of a hike with all the beach things and kids. Overall, nice little place to be after the beach and no issues with any neighbors!

we enjoyed staying at this property. Clean and big enough for everyone, it was really nice that every room had its own bathroom. great location next to the Jackfish store for some pizza or a snowcone (and the lady working there is lovely!) quick walk to the beach, a little longer than we would like with little kiddos but we aren't complaining!

No complaints!

Perfect for our group- 3 couples and 5 kids under 11. Absolutely LOVE how all the bedrooms (aside from the kids' room which had bunk bed, 2 twins on top and 2 doubles on bottom) had king sized beds as well as their own bathroom. Perfectly short walk to the beach. This was really the ideal house and I will definitely book here again next summer!

Great rental for a family trip in a great location. Property was clean and ready for us upon arrival.

The only issue we had was not with the unit, but the community pool area. First, the property description states "This spectacular new property offers a resort style pool with palapa and grills for your use." There are no grills by the pool. They only grill was a kettle grill at the unit. Second, when we attempted to use the pool our second day there, the pool was full of debris, including paper, beer and soda cans and a lot of tree bark and branches. The filter was clogged as it was full of debris as well. There was a very strong wind on Wednesday which may have been the cause of some of the debris in the pool, but when we left on Friday, the pool still had not been cleaned.

As I stated in the opening, the property itself was as advertised and we would stay there again, I just hope the description is updated and the pool is clean.

Great House for a Big Family

This house is a gem for a big family. There are three bedrooms that can each sleep two adults or kids. There’s also bunk room for four kids. Plus a “game” room near the bunk room. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there’s an additional half bath by the kitchen. The dining area has an enormous square table that seats 12. There is a pool with a covered area one house down. The house is conveniently located within walking distance or a short drive to a golf cart rental and cute shop. Plus the Texan convenient store is a block away, where you can grab donuts and breakfast tacos. The maintenance crew is also very responsive. Great place!!

Our beach trip experience.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at High Tides and Good Vibes. It was clean and cool. The kitchen was adequately stocked and we loved the big dining table. We did find the down stairs bedroom to be extremely small. It was difficult for two people to move around. The toilet off of this room ran all of the time and it took 2 flushes to get it cleaned out. The Wi-Fi was very weak and dropped lines often. It’s not quite as close to the beach as we expected but we drove any way. We did have a good time and that’s what is important in the long run! BTW please buy a new broom. The one that’s in there is nasty. We went and bought one to use.

Great memories!!

It was a perfect location for a group to enjoy some time together. It was a short walk to the beach, pool on site, a shop around the corner or gas station across the street for any items you need during your stay. The property was perfect for a large group with three rooms upstairs and one downstairs. Please bring all items you plan to use (baggies, foil, salt and pepper).

Great spot

Spacious home, great for large families. Parking slab really only fits 3 vehicles but if you spill over onto the rock zero scape 4 will fit just fine. Second house over from the pool which was great for the kids. Cart rental place is right next door to neighborhood entrance. They also sell pizza and other snacks. Would use this location again.

Always A Great Time!

This is a perfect place to stay. Everyone or coyple has their own bedroom and bathroom. And the price is GREAT! The only issue is silverware. We had 10 people and only 4 forks. Not many spoons either. We will just have to remember to bring our own next year. Also, only 7 large plates. We made do with the smaller ones. The 1/2 bath sink was still clogged from a year ago. This is our go to place!

Wonderful house - large with so many bedrooms and bathrooms! We had our three grandchildren with us and everyone was comfortable. Only 2 blocks from the beach!

One of the best

This property is really nice, especially the first floor bed/bath for those of us who don't navigate stairs well. There was plenty of room for our party of 10 (6 adults, 4 kids) with sufficient bathrooms.
There are a few "finishing touches" that would really be nice: there aren't closets in the bedrooms, so some hooks would be helpful in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The stools in the kitchen (at the island) are bar height and therefore too tall for the counter.
The gathering table is amazing, easily seats 12. We loved eating together at this table. There is an outdoor shower which is VERY nice to help manage the sand. And the unit is pretty new, do it's still in great contained well kept.

Family Vacay 2022

House was great size, liked the king beds and clean - had an issue with the dryer that ruined my swimsuit top but we fixed it and were good the rest of the week. Did find it strange that for a house that sleeps 12 and has a dinner table for 12 that there were 5 big forks, 3 small forks and 6 or so plates. We bought paper and plastic to be able to feed us all at the same time. I would stay there again, just need more kitchen stuff.

The Getaway

Due to heavy rains, our unit was leaking. We were given the unit next door. It is set up like Any Fin Goes...just the footprint is flipped. For the most part, all was great. There were very few pots to cook with and a unit for 12 only had 7 dinner plates. Any Fin Goes was better stocked on dishes when we stayed there last year. Luckily, I had brought some pots with us just in case. Thank you for taking care of our group! Glad we had a place to stay! Not really a complaint. Just wanted to make you aware.

Great Beach House

This beach house was very spacious for our 12 guests and was extremely clean!! Everyone loved the layout of the house with each bedroom having it's own bathroom. There was plenty of room for everyone, suitcases, beach toys, and all of our coolers and food.

There was a problem with the downstairs half-bath sink not draining at all. The management company was sending a plumber to fix the problems on Monday. The house we rented was not the same one in the listing photos. It seems to be the same floor plan, but it is flipped. This house is two houses away from the pool which is very nice.

The house was extremely well cleaned and Port A Escapes texted me to say the house was ready an hour ahead of schedule. The living room furniture could use a good cleaning, but is very comfortable. The outdoor shower was a nice surprise and helped keep lots of sand out of the house.

I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a nice beach escape. We will only rent from Port A Escapes when going to Port A! They answered every question and phone call with friendly, courteous representatives. Thanks for the fun weekend!

Great location

We had 10 people in our group. There was plenty of room! We loved that every bedroom, including the bunk room, had its own bathroom. Easy walk to the beach. The pool was clean and great for the kids. Beds were comfortable. The only thing that we found wrong, was a chair in the living room. Very worn, VERY stained. It needs to be replaced for the amount of money you pay to stay there. Otherwise the place was great and I would stay there again.

Absolutely Fabulous

The perfect house for our family. All bedrooms had a private bath and a guest bath off the kitchen - perfect!! Three bedrooms had king beds - one with bunk beds for all the kids - perfect!! The house was very clean - nice amenities - lovely decor - very comfortable. Loved having a full washer and dryer. Loved the location - two blocks from the beach - and golf cart close to in town shopping/dining. This house was so perfect for us and we had such a good time that everyone was already talking about making this an annual gathering. Thank you!!

Wonderful Beach Home for Larger Families

Everything meet our expectations. The house was clean and had enough room for three smaller families. The location was excellent and just off the beach access road. The downstairs bedroom door did not latch and there was no broom handle to sweep the sand. It was back breaking trying to sweep up we gave up on day 3. There is also housing construction next door so sleeping in was impossible but we understand that this is due to the damage left my Hurricane Harvey. The early wake up call from construction got us moving and to the beach earlier so it was a win win in my book.

Great Location

Everything was great! The house was clean and had enough room for our 2 families. The location was a plus as well for beach access. The downstairs bedroom door had trouble latching and there was no broom to sweep the sand. I asked for a broom and it was such a slow respond that I ended up buying one.

Amazing and Spacious

From booking to Check out we had top notch customer service. Brenda is a sweetheart to work with. We actually rented 2 homes as we took our very large family to the beach. Ages from 2yrs to over 60. The rooms were spacious. I am the cook for the whole group (Grandma) and I loved the kitchen. We were within walking distance to the beach. The beds are comfortable. There was plenty of space for everyone from the little kids to the teenagers. My only suggestion is bring extra towels with towels and wash cloths with you; the supply is a little skimpy. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. The pool was great. Whenever we had a question or an issue, service was very prompt. We definetly will be back.

Great family vacation

We all had a great stay at this very roomy and accommodating House! Each room had its own restroom!!! I totally didn’t realize it when booking, so it was a nice surprise. Will definitely come back here! The pool was perfect for the little kids and the big kids. Thank you for everything!

Perfect Mother's Day weekend getaway!

We had such an amazing time staying here! It was myself with my husband, 2.5 year old son and 11 month old daughter along with both my parents and my in-laws. The space was great for hanging out and had plenty of seating for everyone. The management company was also super friendly and easy to work with. This is a great place for extended family or even more friends with kids. We will definitely look at staying here again!

Great family house

This house was wonderful for our extended family. Loved the layout. Was hoping to grill burgers and the owners brought out a grill! Very nicely decorated.
