- This is a PET-FRIENDLY RENTAL. Pet fees are an additional $20.00+tax, per pet, per night. A 3 pet maximum is allowed. Additionally, a pet-cleaning fee is also charged, which is $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days, and $100 for stays of 30 or more days.

Cute and Quaint
Love this property. Just a few blocks from the beach. Close to all of the everything’s and great little yard for my pup. I called to ask for more towels and they were on my doorstep in a matter of min. Bed was super comfy too. My one teeny tiny little gripe are the doors to the cottage. I’ve stayed here before and they used to be cute little French doors easy to get in and out of but these are massive Italian church doors. lol. Pretty, but a little too much. Love everything else about this prop though.

Couples Get Away in Port A
My husband and I booked this property because we were seeking a location in Port Aransas that gave us flexibility to walk to the beach and shops but was also convenient to driving experiences in the general Port Aransas/Corpus Christie area. The property was very cute and sized just right for two on a week long stay. The home was very clean and had several items stocked for our arrival, which was appreciated. There was a private outdoor space that was very cute and the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Communication with the property management was great and they helped us when we needed to receive keys after hours. Check out was easy. We would love to stay here again.

Port Aransas
Overall the rental was adequate. A couple minor items such as no hand soap by the sink, only 2 bath towels provided(my wife uses 2 towels when she showers), it would have been nice to have a couple beach chairs provided. On a positive note we noticed the propane for the grill was empty and we called on a sunday morning and it was replaced within a couple hours. Thank You, we enjoyed our stay.

This was a very nice quaint cottage with old charm. It was quiet but then again it was during the week without party animals. The backyard was maintained with St. Augustine grass that was plush. It was perfect for our dog that loved it! I would go back to this rental in the future.

We truly enjoyed our visit to Port A. The accommodations were extremely private and secure. Allowing our fur babies to accompany us and the ability to give them a private grassed and secure fenced in area was a major selling point for us. Updating the AC with a motel style unit would be great.

This was a lovely little beach cottage. It was private, and the yard was perfect for our dog. Right in town, and close to many things! Additionally, the hosts were very responsive - we accidentally locked ourselves out, and were let in by maintenance quite quickly.

Cute with great fence for your dogs!

It was fine, have stayed here before. Love the upgrades of the laundry room but the sleep number bed did not work, even with a new battery. The place was clean but was too warm when we got there. Had to crank the A/C down & use the extra fan to cool it down. There needs to be some type of lights outside, could see nothing & too many keys. We stayed here because of our dogs & the addition of the privacy fence was great as well as the location!

Small, close to everything, pet friendly

AC unit was kind of noisy and there was a light outside the kitchen we couldn't turn off; both were a bit of a problem at night. Screened porch was great but needs a light source. Location was fantastic for convenience to everything. Outdoor shower helped to keep sand outside. Unit is small but great for a couple with a dog.

It rained are entire trip, but it was still a great and cozy vacation. Very close to the beach and a grocery store. Backyard was very private and everything was clean. They even came over to check on my internet after the storm!

Cozy Cottage
The cottage was a clean and cozy place to relax and was well appointed. It was close to everything yet private and secure. The only problem was the circuit breaker had tripped and we couldn’t access the electrical outlets but they quickly set someone out to fix it.

Lovely little casita!

This is such a cute little cottage! And perfect for anyone with dogs. It has a nice high fenced yard, a great screened in porch, and just a few short block walk to the beach. The kitchen equipment is pretty good - all your usual basics. I found the small collection of tupperware extremely convenient! Would have loved to see a tea kettle, but I made do!
A few areas for improvement*: I couldn't get the wifi to work, but I also didn't try extremely hard to troubleshoot. We ended up having a hotspot so it was a non-issue. The shower is small and the shower head is very tall! Almost too tall for me (coming in at 5'4"). But, it has great pressure and temperature! The shower curtain could use a refresh, but otherwise the whole place is extremely clean! The kitchen doesn't have any pantry sundries (oil, salt, pepper) but is otherwise extremely well stocked with equipment.
*These are all EXTREMELY minor and I would recommend this place in a heartbeat! Great location, Port A Escapes is extremely easy to work with, and the app makes things so simple. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Everything was great. This is a cozy spot for a couple and would be perfect for a couple with two younger children as well. Master bedroom comes with a queen size Murphey bed and there is a couch which doubles as a pull-out twin bunk bed. The unit itself is one giant (relative) room - kitchen, dining nook and bedroom. It is new construction, well appointed and nicely finished. There is a gas grill for outdoor cooking and a screened in porch which is perfect for chatting at the end of the day with a glass of wine and gentle breeze blowing through. The backyard is just big enough for four folks and a furry friend; it is all fenced it as well which is nice for privacy and to keep the dog around.
WiFi is great and there is a new A/C unit and TV with cable.
All in all - we had a fantastic time and we will certainly be back.
BTW - we met the owner and she is a really nice gal and takes pride in her little rental unit.

Le Petit Chateau was the perfect place for my husband, myself and our dogs. It was small but it was so clean and charming, we loved it. The screened in porch gave us additional space and the yard gave our dogs a place to spend time. The location was a few blocks from the beach, as well as all the restaurants. It was perfect for us.

Nice private getaway for our anniversary

Very friendly property owner and rental staff. Absolutely hassle-free. Bungalow-style rental was new but very quaint and almost perfect. The only thing we would have liked was that the area around the bed had more room; it was really tight. Located close to the beach and restaurants. Fenced yard was nice for our dog. Forgot how humid August can be near the Texas coast, but otherwise a very enjoyable stay in Port A! Would highly recommend.

This little cottage very near the beach is also very near all of the other accomodations, ie grocery, retail, cart rentals, etc. It was wonderfully decorated, clean, comfortable and loaded with all kinds of little extras that you are so grateful to have at your disposal especially in the kitchen if you like to prepare some of your own meals. Great find in paradise
GREAT, private, super convenient to everything and so cute. Planning on going back soon. I have been coming to Port A fo over 50 years and this little place and old town is what makes Port A so special. Don't get me wrong the “vacation suburbs” serve their purpose but they are at Every beach, you could be at any of them...but old town is the character of Port A and that’s the real experience I love.

This was the best little vacation home! It fit our family of 4 and a large dog, perfectly. We loved that it was not only dog friendly (with a fenced in yard) but dog welcoming! Le Petit was decorated so cute and was exceptionally clean! Another plus was the screened in porch where we could relax, bug-free, in the evenings. The owner of the rental was so awesome to work with and very welcoming. Not to mention the price was great for the location and time of year. We won't stay anywhere else now!
