We were very pleased with the location, cleanliness and comfort of this house. Location right on the beach - we had a golf cart but it’s not needed - just extra fun! Quick drive to many restaurants but we also cooked most of our meals. The kitchen was well appointed, even had a double oven! Very clean house. Property management was very friendly and responsive, we had them out to reset the router (the RV park has wifi but the house wifi was way better!). We also had them out to change batteries in a smoke alarm that started chirping midway through our stay (they replaced batteries in all detectors). The house is located in an RV park but not managed by the same staff, I didn’t know that until we left. The staff at the park are also really great, very friendly.

We stayed here with my in-laws and husbands grandparents. Our rental requirements were an elevator, private pool and view. This house did more than deliver! The grandparents felt comfortable using the elevator on their own and were able to enjoy all the amenities of the house! The view from the third floor was more than you could ask for and the pool was perfect! There was also plenty of privacy since there were separate bathrooms for us all. We will be staying again next summer!

This property was amazing! The house was very clean and is fully stocked with all necessary kitchenware. Having the pool was a huge plus for our family of 8. I was glad that I had brought our own pool towels, there are none provided. The views are amazing! This place was perfect! We would definitely rent again.

Great location with very easy nearby beach access. Good neighborhood with almost no traffic so great for the kids to ride bikes and play outside. Community pool is so warm it’s almost too warm and the pool at the house is nice too. Elevator is really nice too for bringing groceries to the third floor kitchen.

This was our third stay at License to Chill and we have already reserved it again for next summer so you can see we are extremely pleased with the property. It is clean, has a well provisioned kitchen, the pool is large enough for our entire family, and the view is outstanding. The elevator makes moving in and out a breeze, and the second fridge and 1/2 bath near the pool is a great amenity. The boardwalk is well maintained and large enough for golf carts. We will keep returning.

Finding this gem was the absolute best for my family's gathering. The view was absolutely gorgeous, the home was to die for, and the area so peaceful. Renting the golf carts made it that much more exciting. We will definitely be back.

We frequently rent houses and condos in Port A, and this by far has been the best. Having all of the living space on the top floor was so nice because there was plenty of room for a large family to spread out and you look at stunning views all day. This house was also the most thoughtful and best stocked - meaning while usually rentals are stocked with the basics, this had everything and more you could want in even your house at home. We hosted Thanksgiving for our family here and there was plenty of serving dishes, cookware, plates, etc etc. There was nothing we needed that couldn't be found. The weather was terrible this trip, but with the stunning views and large living space, we still felt relaxed and enjoyed the views even though we were stuck inside. One note: The two primary bedrooms with en suite bathrooms are not on the ocean side which is unusual. In the end, it didn't bother us but worth noting if that's important to you. Also the bunk beds in one room appear to be more kid sized only, but there are plenty of large beds in the other rooms to pick from. However, if all the kids are teens this is something to consider. The house was very clean and in immaculate condition. I wasn't sure about the location being inside an RV park but if you aren't familiar with Gulf Waters, it's not your usual park - the spaces are owned and built out by owners, and there are requirements for RVs staying there so all are very nice. It was extremely quiet and very safe. This end of the island is much quieter than closer to town but it's a very quick drive to any restaurants or anything you need. Highly recommend this property.

This is a wonderful family vacation property located right on the beach. The house was very clean and equipped with everything a large group could need. The pool was also a huge asset especially in the afternoon when the beach got too hot. The only thing to be aware of is that if you are renting a golf cart only specific companies can bring them into the Gulf Waters subdivision so double check first. Port A Escapes had an easy check in and check out process and accommodated a late check in easily. We would recommend this for any large groups or families and would definitely rent it again ourselves.

We loved License to Chill. It was just beautiful. Great location and near the beach. The pool was perfect and really added to our vacation. The kitchen was FULLY stocked and the place was very clean when we arrived. It's a little wonky to find as you have to drive thru the RV park to get to the home. Fantastic view of gulf. Hardly any negatives to report. The elevator was on the fritz a few times. Once we got used to operating it, it seemed to work ok. This was my first visit to Port Aransas and we loved it. The water was warm and clean and my entire family loved the waves.

This was a wonderful location for our entire family to enjoy! The only issue we had was that the elevator was broken. We were notified of the problem before we arrived and were given another option if we wanted to change locations. We opted to remain in this house and it all worked out fine. Prior to our arrival, Port A Escapes, the property manager, was very responsive to our questions. Easy check-in and even easier check-out via mobile app. The house, including kitchen, was well maintained, very clean, and very well appointed and stocked. Wonderful ocean views. Conveniently located to beach (short walk over a board walk, which also can handle beach buggies as well as pedestrians). Beach buggies available for rental and can be delivered. Private pool. Enjoyed our four night stay at License to Chill. Wish there was a set of interior stairs to get to the first floor without having to use the elevator. Our group consisted of 13 adults and one infant. We couldn't get one of the TV's in the Master BR to work. The private pool was definitely worth our stay as we used it alot. I also felt the beach was less crowded. I would consider staying here again.

Unfortunately, we were there during incredibly cold weather and were unable to use the 3rd floor balcony or pool, but we look forward to staying again in the future as it is a great house for hosting a large group and for entertaining.

The home was very nice and comfortable! We celebrated my sister's life, she passed away (9/28/20) ..., the home was great but it sure would of helped knowing there was an elevator upon arrival (after 10pm) owner Brenda (guessing) told us there was an elevator..., I wasn't looking for one! LOL! A sign over the "elevator door" would be helpful. Minor stuff, no toliet paper or towels, hair in the master bdrm shower and poor kitchen stuff (i.e. liquid soap, dish towels).., again minor stuff but for the $$ you'd expect these items to be there..., overall great home!

Our rental was amazing! We had a party of 14 and this house was everything we needed and more. We had beautiful views of the ocean on every floor. The elevator was a little tricky but we got the hang of it.I think that this will be our go to rental from now on.

License to Chill had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy our annual Father's Day trip to the coast. The house was spotless, the kitchen fully stocked, there were games outside and plenty of pool toys! We did have a few problems with the elevator and had to reset the breaker but we eventually figured it out.

This is our 7th annual family vacation and we all agreed this was the best house yet. Lots of room and a gorgeous view. The pool kept the kids busy when we weren't at the beach. Well stocked kitchen. It took us a day to get figure out the elevator. The 2nd floor elevator door needs adjusting to stay tightly closed. Other than that easy fix, it was perfect.

License To Chill could not be set up any better for a small wedding celebration!! The downstairs outdoor COVERED patio was perfect for the ceremony. We had 44 chairs set up with plenty of room for all. The pool and dunes were a beautiful backdrop for the sunset wedding. The upstairs great room area was plenty big for the reception dinner and party. The large balcony provided extra room to enjoy the panoramic views of the Gulf. The elevator made wedding set up and moving guests a piece of cake. The house is decorated impeccably and has 6 bedrooms to help with housing guests. Parking was a little limited but we had guests park on the beach and easily shuttled them across the golf cart friendly boardwalk. We had a great weekend largely due to this fantastic property.

This home was perfect for our four generation gathering away from home for all. The home was beautiful, and exactly as advertised. We will definitely rent again in the future. Two nice-to-haves (safety wise) would be safety bars in the showers, and bars to hold onto getting in and out of the pool. This place is definitely a gem!

This is our third summer renting in Port A. My entire family said we hit it out of the ballpark. It was perfect for our special needs nephew. Also, having bedrooms on one floor and family gathering areas on top floor is a great idea. One large family room means nobody is left out of activities while allowing multiple groups if necessary.

The photos of this house do not do it justice, plus it now has a very large pool in the backyard. The house was definitely one of the best stocked home we have ever rented in Port A. TONS of serving platters, bowls, plates, coffee mugs, silverware. Everything you need for a house of this size.

My only recommendation would be to have instructions on the operation of the elevator, front door and cooktop. Maintenance was very responsive but renters shouldn't have to call to learn how to operate the cooktop. It is not intuitive and were a group of 12 women!

Guest should also be aware that the only way to get to the bottom level is via the elevator or to go outside and back through the garage. Not a reason to miss out on this fabulous home but something to be aware of.

Had a great time, house is beautiful, management company is responsive. Had a few issues and they responded in a timely manner. Unfortunately it was a holiday weekend and getting the proper people there to fix our problems was an issue, but that's understandable. Otherwise, was a great stay and the pool was completed just before arrival - literally minutes before we arrived - so that was a bonus!! (They did not promise that it would be complete)

Rented this house and was the first to do so as it is brand new. Has 6 rooms and beautiful kitchen and living room area that are open for entertainment with Ocean views. Only thing was everything stated that it had a gas grill and it does not so bring charcoal.
