“Lucky Enough” is a vacation home for the whole family! Located in tropical Village Walk, this home is just a short drive to the beach and right in the heart of Port Aransas. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms, a private pool, game room and an amazing roof top terrace. The first level consists of a guest suite that has two queen size beds. A sofa with coffee table, a high-top table, a kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator and its own bathroom. On the second floor you have the master bedroom with a king size bed and an en suite bath. The third and fourth bedrooms also located on this floor have a queen size bed and two sets of twin bunk beds. There is another full bathroom on the second floor along with a laundry closet with full-size washer and dryer. On the third floor you have a great family area with an open concept containing the living room, dining area, with seating for 12 plus 4 bar stools, and kitchen. The second and third floor balconies have wonderful beach views. There is a roof top deck with panoramic views of the ocean, beach and Corpus Christi bay and city lights. If you have had all the fun you can stand at the beach come back to the house and take a swim in your private pool and cook up some BBQ on the provided charcoal BBQ grill. Kids of all ages will enjoy the pool table and a 64 game arcade machine that are set up in the garage. If you don’t like what someone is watching on TV, don’t worry, because there are SEVEN smart TVs in this house. This house has everything needed for you to have a great vacation with your family and friends! There is also an elevator that is convenient when moving in or moving out. No pets allowed at this property.

Before traveling to Port Aransas/Village Walk please plan the correct number of vehicles you drive in accordance to the rules below:
1) Lucky Enough VW48 provides 4 paved parking spaces all in the driveway for 4 medium sized vehicles. If you rent a golf cart it must fit in one of your 4 spaces.
2) Parking Tags will be provided by Port Aransas Escapes Vacation Rentals.
3) All vehicles must be parked in the driveway of VW 48. No Street Parking, No Parking in Red Zones, and No Parking in other Village Walk Driveways
4) No Boats, Trailers, Buses, RV’s allowed in Village Walk
5) Towing will be strictly enforced
Lucky Enough VW48 provides ample parking for 12 guests, properly planning the correct number of vehicles prior to your departure will enhance your vacation experience.

Great views for the whole family
My wife and I took our three young children to this property and had a blast. We really only made use of the middle and top floor, but they were bright, clean, and comfortable. We snuck up to the roof for an evening after the kids went down and enjoyed some fresh air. The only letdown was the game room: the arcade machine wasn't functional and the ping-pong table in the pictures has since become a billiards table, which is probably better for adults but it was a bummer for the kids.

Christmas with the family

We currently live in Arkansas, but are from Central Texas. We decided to spend Christmas week at the Coast to spend a little time back home. Lucky Enough was everything anyone could ask for in a vacation home. The house was well appointed with everything you could need from the kitchen to the bedrooms. We could tell that the owners of this house cared very much about our comfort. We felt like we were staying with friends. The view from the rooftop deck was fantastic. The house is located near everything, but was in a gated community so we felt secluded. The privacy was a huge plus we did not expect. Will return next year.

Clean and Beautiful

We had ten family members from three generations sharing the house, and it worked really well! The company was quick to respond and easy to work with.
The only down side was that you can't walk to the beach from it. It's in a cute neighborhood where you can see the beach but can't access it. The drive to get there, though, was quick and easy, so we just bought a beach parking pass and drove ourselves.

Went on a guys fishing trip of 5 and we loved the place. Very spacious and clean. You can see a good view of the beach from the house but there is no clear walking path so we ended up driving still. Would definitely book again!

Perfect for family of 12. Elevator for unloading and loading made such a great experience. Bedrooms and bathrooms are laid out to accommodate everyone. The living dinning area is perfect for large family gathering with ocean view. Roof top and game room were such an added plus. Pool was perfect size for refreshing and relaxing after a full day at the beach. Very clean and spacious!

This house was amazing. Everything about the house exceeded our expectations. We normally stay at cinnamon shore, but this house was a much better experience. The house is fully stocked with everything you could ever need. The layout is perfect for multiple families, and the pool was the icing on the cake. We will definitely be back again.

Everything was fine except the ice maker did not work and the bottom bedroom in the garage needs a better air conditioner unit. Did not cool room properly. The guests should be provided with garbage cans to take put to the street.
We have installed a new HVAC unit and have since fixed the ice maker. Thank you so much for your feedback - we look forward to seeing you again!

AMAZING HOUSE - Fabulous for all occasions

Our trip was so great, it was a group of 10 friends gathering for a weekend get a way. The house is in a great location, close to restaurants and bars, but not in the mix, very peaceful. The accommodations were great,, everything was very clean, and the staff was super responsive with any request we had. I would absolutely go back again. Thank you Port Aransas Escapes!!

Summer Getaway 2018

Vacation home was very nice and had lots of room. The pool was a little on the small size, but that didnt keep the kids from enjoying themselves and the private pool was definitely a plus. Another downside was how close the houses are to each other. You really dont have any privacy when sitting outside. I would also suggest investing in a bigger pit. We also had some issues when we initially arrived, power outlets were not working and we had issues using the elevator, both of which were addressed and resolved right away. I would suggest a Welcome Packet describing how to use the elevator or at least turn on, which seemed to be our issue. The elevator was off. I did not like how the bottom floor was separate from the rest of the house, but luckily the elevator connected to all floors. The elevator definitely came in handy. There also seemed to be a lot of miscommunication between the home owner and property managers. PM were not aware of some of the existing issue (cable not working). On the plus size the house was clean, roomy and decorated very nicely and a short drive to the beach. Despite some of the issues we had here, we very much enjoyed ourselves. The PM also accommodated/resolved our issues and provided a refund, which was very impressive considering how bad customer service has gotten these days. A big thank you to the Property Managers for improving our experience substantially and trying to make everything right.

Bright and Cheery House with Amazing Views!
The house exceeded expectations. The decor was bright and cheerful, the house of clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of space for everyone. We loved the upstairs area with the kitchen and living room. The best was the rooftop patio which provided nice ocean breezes and a great view of the gulf. The second floor was perfect for all the kids to sleep and the downstairs was a nice getaway for the adults. The joystick on the arcade machine does not work, however, so that was disappointing (you could only move right).
Hi! Thank you for staying with us. I wanted to let you know that the joystick has been repaired. Also, The whole house has a fresh coat of paint along with a few other upgrades. We hope to see you again in the near future.

Spring Break Gettaway
Three families of us just came back from Port A. We were so glad to chose this Lucky Enough. The property was clean and stayed the same as the pictures showed. We could tell the paint was fresh once we got into the house. The roof top was exceptional! We enjoyed the sunset for the evening. The beach view was great! The private pool was too cold for our stay. But the heated community was nice. We definitely will stay in Village Walk next time.

Family Vacation
The "Lucky Enough" beach house was great. House was perfect for 11. It was clean and the décor was awesome. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need and the dining table was large enough for our whole family to eat meals together. Beds were comfy. Elevator was good for taking groceries and luggage upstairs. Location was good for town and beach. We rented golf carts so the beach access was easier than if we walked or drove cars. Kids loved the pool. Grill was gas and not charcoal like the description stated. We had a great time in Port A!

Perfect vacation home

My husband and I took all our grown children and grandchildren to Lucky Enough and it was perfect. It was very comfortable home away from home, very large, clean, fun, we didn't want to leave. We all took turns preparing a large dinner, played games, enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets on the mini balconies. Relaxed our private pool.

Great house!
This home's interior was beautiful and the balconies on both floors, plus the rooftop terrace with ocean views really put it over the top for us. The pool was small, but worked just right for our family. They provided extra blankets and pillows in every room which I really appreciated. Even the kitchen was pretty well stocked and the pots/pans provided were of good quality for these type of rentals. Everyone in my family commented on how much they liked the colorful dishes and there were plenty (enough to eat a couple meals before having to wash again). The management office/ maintenance personnel were also very responsive. The home has an elevator which was very useful throughout our stay, though the staff said there would be a daily charge to use use it in the future, which I think is ridiculous. Overall the home was great and we would definitely recommend it.
Here were the [minor] cons:
1. Dishwasher is pretty beat-up and needs some repairs or maybe replacement
2. There's no beach access from this neighborhood (which is clearly stated in the home's description)
3. Bbq pit was dirty (we ended up buying one and using that)
4. Bugs in the house. This wasn't a huge problem, and the house was very clean and well-kept; it was outdoor roaches getting inside the house.
5. Pool lights did not turn on
6. The only MAJOR con for us was that the description stated there is parking for 4 cars, but that is definitely not the case unless everyone in your party is driving coupes. 3 trucks and a jeep did not fit in the tiny driveway.
Here were the [minor] cons:

We do not charge for that elevator, our office person was new and gave you the wrong info. All the other issues, dishwasher, pool lights, and bbq pit have been resolved, thank you for bringing them to our attention. Sorry about the driveway, I guess they were designed for regular cars. We do offer overflow parking at our office in the future.
