Clean but would not stay there again
Pictures are a little deceiving. This small house is actually 2 units. I was fine with the size of the interior because I was looking for something small but was surprised that we had to go up steps to adjoining neighbors door to get to ours. Only one parking spot was very inconvenient because our neighbor checked in before us so we were left to park in gravel lot on opposite side of our unit and there was a No Parking sign. When I called owner, I was told that it was probably fine.:/ The bed was way to firm and the "hot" water was warm but definitely not hot. The house was very clean and the street felt safe. Location is not in walking distance to beach but it is in a great spot for shops and restaurants.

Weekend getaway

Great location! Place is very small. No oven or dishwasher. Fridge is tiny. Shower is extremely small. Great for 1 or 2 nights. We had problems with electricity going out on half the room twice. We had to find the breaker box and reset. Probably won't stay here again.

This was a great little place to stay. Very tiny but you dont go to Port A to stay in the room so it was perfect for us. Only thing about the room we didnt like was the shower. VERY small.

Adorable beach hideaway
This unit is small - one room - the size of a typical hotel room, maybe a little bigger. Everything is brand sparkling new and very clean. The decor and construction inside is very nicely done and is all fresh and welcoming. The bed is comfortable. There is a huge tv that swivels to watch in bed or on the couch. There is not stove or oven, just a small fridge and a microwave so if you plan to cook this isn't going to work for you. This is a duplex so it is not completely private, you share a porch with the next door. There is only one space in the driveway to park so one of the guests has to park across the street. No big deal but not the most fun loading and unloading. Location is great, you can walk to the bars, restaurants and grocery store easily. We had a great weekend and enjoyed our stay in this cute place.

Quaint stay

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Tranquil Cove. The furnishings and decor were nice and the kitchen sufficiently provided what we needed. The Brewery, located just at the end of the street, a short walk, had an excellent Vampire Lovers wood fire pizza! Keep in mind when viewing this unit that it is a duplex.

Wonderful Stay at Tranquil Cove!
Tranquil Cove was the perfect location! Many shops and places to eat all so close. The beach was very easy to get to. Port A Escapes communication through the whole process was great! We will be returning to this location - possible next door to Tranquil Breeze so that we have a full fridge, oven, stove, and dishwasher.

Our cottage was very clean, everything updated and nice. The refrigerator is small but perfect for two people if you are only staying a short time. Close to everything, shopping, restaurants and a 5 minute drive to the beach.

There is only one driveway for both units and the guests next to us took all the driveway so we had to park across the street. The staff was very friendly & helpful, the cottage is very very cute, was spotless & cooled off before we checked in!! Very nicely decorated, close to everything in town, had everything we needed!!! Loved it and would love ❤️ to live there!! Lol

Cozy Retreat, Central Location
The next door neighbors are a little dodgy looking and there was an old TV set lying in the grass across the street from the driveway, but inside the unit is another world! It's cozy, clean and adorable. It felt like home, and I look forward to booking this location the next time I travel to Port Aransas. Thank you for a lovely time!

We loved the cottage. It was clean and cozy. I've recommend my friends and family to Port A Escapes.
I would like to let you know that the only problem was the trashcan out front. The smell is a turn off. We moved it up a little but the stench was awful. Everything else was great.

This location was amazing. We walked all over town and barely used our car, except to get to the beach. The place it self was a little dumpy, and the floor was warped in the middle. The bathroom was TINY. But for a few days it worked out just fine.

Very happy with location and condition of the unit. Although threw as an ironing board, there was no upon or hair dryer. Bed a little Gardner than I am used to. A foam mattress pad would solve that. Compared to price of others this was great value for the money.

The place was quaint and cozy. The only complaint I have is that there wasn't Wifi or a community pool as advertised on the website. Or maybe there was but the info wasn't provided in my late check in packet.

Great Stay
We had a wonderful experience. The booking agency was great! We arrived a couple of hours early and our cottage had just been cleaned so we were allowed to check in. One of the kitchen drawers broke and they sent someone right over and repaired it. Our only complaint, and it was big, was the internet connection was virtually non-existant! When we called about it, we were told we should be able to pick the connection up from one of the two businesses that were adjacent to our cottage . . . that never happened! But other than that, we loved everything!

Overall, I recommend this small efficiency unit for the traveler. It's very close to all the shops and restaurants, and a great place for planning a brief excursion to the coast.

Vacation Rental

The property was very clean and the kitchen was better equipped than most condos I stay in. The towels were as thick as those in a 1st class hotel. The AC unit in the window kept the condo very cool. The only drawbacks were: the shower did not have hot water, it was always lukewarm. The porch outside was in the hot sun with no shade whatsoever. We like to sit outside and in the heat of an August summer, this was impossible. The yard had no landscaping, no flowers or anything to give the exterior a desirable front. The location was great for being right in Old Town and being able to walk to shopping and restraunts. For a very short stay in Port Aransas this location is good.I would not stay here again because I prefer to pay more and get an ocean view. They did charge only $100 a night but the $100 I put down to reserve was eaten up in taxes and maid fees. The management was professional but did not break down the $100 required to hold the property and explain it to me.

We had a great time. The place is very small but fine for 2 people over a long weekend. The location is just awesome. We walked or biked anywhere we needed to eat, shop and site see. The address is not obvious on the building but easily solved with a little looking around.

we found the rental to be in an overall good condition. There was a slight problem with the refrigerator temp upon arrival, but it was addressed in the following days. There was a stain underneath door of fridge(looked like rust or fluid)

The property is well located, very close to restaurants and shops. The drive to the beach is about 5 min. I was disappointed about not having wifi and when I called they said they were sending someone to check and that never happened in the 4 days we stayed there. We saw and killed 3 roaches.
