Description

Introducing Barefoot Bungalow SPV26. Situated on Alister Street, this property is just a short distance away from the grocery store, restaurants, bars and other shopping. It is also conveniently located near Beach street which is a beach access road. These cottages have been a fixture in Port Aransas for many years and offer a truly unique location. The kitchen offers a cook-top stove, microwave and full size refrigerator. There is a spacious screened porch for dining, card games, or to enjoy the gulf breezes.
Please note: This community does not allow boats or trailers of any kind. A maximum of two standard size vehicles are allowed. Golf carts count as one of the two vehicles. STR#524874

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- A two-night minimum stay is required.
- The minimum age requirement for reserving and check in is 25. A signed rental agreement with the host and a copy of the contracting guest's drivers license is required
- We do not accept Klarna or Affirm payments
- Cable and Wi-Fi service in Port Aransas can be unreliable due to the unique coastal environment in which we live. We appreciate your understanding that these services are beyond our control. No discounts or refunds will be given for service disruptions.
- This is a PET-FRIENDLY RENTAL. Pet fees are an additional $20.00+tax, per pet, per night. A maximum of 3 pets are allowed. No pets over 20lbs. Additionally, a pet-cleaning fee is also charged, which is $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days, and $100 for stays of 30 or more days.

Port Aransas Cottage

The experience at this cottage was amazing. It was so comfy and the fenced in area was so wonderful to the pups could stretch the legs and investigate. The home was clean and they even offered welcome gifts.

Barefoot Bungalow

We have stayed in this property at 4-5 times and have always loved it. This time however I do have a few complaints. The convection oven stopped working while cooking my bacon. It eventually came back on about 20 minutes later so I’m guessing maybe it just got overheated. The drain in the shower was draining so slow I ended up with about 3-4 inches of water in the bottom of the shower by the time I was done. The welcome sign said there were tumbler cups for us to take home but there were none there (last time we stayed in that place there were some).

Barefoot Bungalow

We have stayed in this unit numerous times and always have a great experience. This time I noticed they made a couple small changes that were a pleasant surprise. The only thing that needs to be addressed is the convection oven has a tendency to stop working while cooking which can be annoying when you are trying to cook.

It was great although I think the bathroom needs some TLC close to everything and they also have sister company that works with them to drop off and pick up buggies I loved that will be staying again

Great screened in porch!

It was way smaller than we thought it was. There was a leak thru the ceiling fan in the middle of the night but was fixed quickly the next day & new sheets & towels provided. The fences were too short for our golden retrievers, but small dogs would be fine here. We were on a budget with the dogs so it was fine for the money. The best part was the screened in porch. Loved it!

Great experience for a quick last minute beach trip

The house was really cute and clean! Loved having the screened in porch with a fan and the yard was great for the dog. We had everything we needed in the house for our two night stay. Loved the central location!! Management even responded quickly to a question after hours! Had a great time!

Great Option in Port A

This cute cottage is small, but clean and nicely updated. It was perfect for our family of 4, and we loved having a yard for the kids to play in (Which we wouldn't have had at a condo or hotel). The communication from Port A Escapes was great and they made check in and check out so easy.

Wonderful little bungalow!

We feel in love with this house the moment we pulled up! Very quaint, clean and decorated. The scene in porch was perfect and the yard was the perfect size for my 2 pups to romp in. We will definitely be back!

Spring Break for Senior Adults

We loved the little house, especially the screened porch. Very clean and well-furnished for a beach stay. Kitchen had everything we needed. The next time you remodel the bathroom, consider losing the window and moving the shower to that wall. A pedestal sink where the shower is, would give more room. Loved the pantry in the hall, very useful. The circle street was very quiet and made for a nice neighborhood.

We were originally booked for a different cottage but when we arrived to that one we were not happy with the yard so I called the management office and asked if we could be moved over to Barefoot Bungalow. The girl (I think her name was Hailey) who helped us was very friendly and had us moved over to the other property in less than 5 minutes.

Cute & Clean Neighborhood Cottage

This cottage was in the perfect location - close enough in town to walk to a few places if we wanted to, but out of the way/quiet enough to take our dog for a walk around the neighborhood without worrying about traffic. The house was clean - which I was super happy about considering this is a "pet friendly" cottage. I've been upset at previous rentals with pet hair on everything - and that was NOT the case here. I appreciated the amount of consumables (trash bags, soap, etc.) that were provided - it was enough for our stay. The fenced in yard was great for our mini Aussie to have room to run (grass was mowed and the landscaping was well kept and beautiful), and we loved the screened in patio area during the evenings (also in great condition - no holes in the screen, patio furniture was solid and not falling apart). We did take the AC filter out of the window unit and shook it off, so I would recommend to management to check those more often. I appreciated having a broom to sweep up the sand that makes its way into the house. Glad there were extra linens and pillows available, made the stay more comfortable! I also liked the keypad entry, it made checking in and out a breeze. The parking for this particular cottage was plenty for the 2 vehicles (truck + golf cart) that we had. We will definitely be considering this property or any other cottage in this neighborhood for a future stay.
