Ready to do it again!!
The house was very clean and spacious. Our party had 6adults and 5 teens and we had plenty of room. Everyone had a great time and voted to do it every year. The only thing was construction right behind the house, but not enough to stop us from coming back! Thank you Port A Escapes.

Sparkling clean
This property was very clean and spacious. The only complaint is that there was not a broom available to clean up our sandy mess periodically throughout our stay. Otherwise, it wonderful. I would definitely stay there again. It has a boardwalk to the beach and is close to town restaurants and stores. I highly recommend

Great Get A Way
We had 10 Adults and everyone was very comfy and satisfied. A couple mai tenancy issues while we were there and they took care of them within a couple hours. Great experience for all.

Family Vacation 2019
We had such a great time out there. The location is perfect. Didn't have to spend the extra money on a golf cart as the walk to the beach was just a 5 minute walk. The house was very clean, and comfortable we had 8 kids under 14 and 6 adults and never felt like we where in each others space. The hang out space outside was amazing as well. Spent most evening of our stay out there. The kitchen could use a few upgrades when starting the dishwasher I was afraid of breaking it also the knifes could use a bit of sharpening. If you are planning to grill bring your own grilling utensils. Luckily we packed our own. The management is amazing. Shower wasn't draining sent out an email, and bam just like that it was fixed. Definitely will consider staying here again!

Home for Memories
We had the BEST experience staying in Lucky #13! It was perfect for our weekend getaway. We had 4 adults and 7 kiddos and the house was plenty big. If you have little ones, bring a baby gate due to the stairs though. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen and/or grill. Bring your own grill utensils as we were unable to locate any. The walking distance to the boardwalk is about 75 yards from the house, which was easy to get to. The pictures need to be updated on the site. There are homes all around, not land like the picture shows. Overall, we would definitely stay in this house again!

Lucky 13 Vacation
Clean, neat, close to the beach. Had everything we needed. Road construction outside the property, had the road closed off most of the day Sat. But we spent the day at the beach, walking back and forth to the property, so it wasn’t a problem.

Spring Break fishing trip
We had plenty of room for our 12 family members. The house was spotless and close to the beach. Port Aransas Escapes management company was very courteous and helpful. The only minor drawback was that the boardwalk was not fully repaired yet. Very understandable given the hurricane Port Aransas experienced recently.

Friends and Family
We live in Michigan. My son lives in Corpus Christi while he is in school. He was getting married on 3/3/18. I rented this house for friends and family to stay. Found it to very clean and comfortable. Everything appears to be relatively new. Washer and dryer, dishwasher and coffee pot. We cooked breakfast every morning and enjoyed each other company. Everyone that came said they were very impressed.

Everything was just as we planed good location, clean and not far from the beach. The bathroom on the bottom floor shower drain was very slow to drain and should be repaired.

We always rent from you and the staff at your office is amazing. This year was the same. For the property the first night was not very good with the AC being out and it being hot an humid outside. The AC guy did show up and fix the issue the next afternoon but the one night was bad.

Lucky 13 was perfect
This was our first trip to the beach with the kids and we loved it. It was close to the boardwalk and an easy walk to the beach. The kitchen was fabulous and we had everything we needed to cook the meals we wanted. Lots of space and easy access to everything that Port A offers. Ready to go back!

Benker family reunion
The house was ready very early so we were able to move in in the early afternoon. It was clean , cool and inviting. We gathered in the family room and played games (I brought), enjoyed breakfast and dinner in the house with the time in between on the beach. Being able to walk to and from the beach was fantastic. I was only disappointed in one thing...last year there were more TVs in the rooms. This year the one in my bedroom did not work and my daughter's room had none.

Overall a very nice experience. We had 10 adults and 3 toddlers and there was plenty of room for everyone. Bathrooms were nice sized and amazingly plenty of hot water. The balcony had a decent view of the gulf and always a breeze. We called maintenance about no wifi service and they responded quickly. The wifi didn't work all week but it was an issue with the phone company and not the house. One suggestion for anyone with toddlers, the stairway from the livingroom to the lower level is very wide so if you are bringing a baby gate you need one at least 48 inches wide. The people of Port A were extremely nice and helpful
highly recommend a pizza place called Pizzeria Port A on avenue G. $10 all you can eat buffet.
Also the donut shop and candy store were very good and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay at this property again if we would vacation in the area.

Birthday celebration
The location & property were great! We did encounter a few challenges throughout our stay. We couldn't connect to WIFI, we called & received the answering service which he told us that nothing could be done till the following day. He was no help and didn't go out of his way to help. Then my son & a few of his friends were going for a walk when he stepped off the pavement between garage & stairs he twisted & sprained his ankle pretty bad. There's a drop step from garage pavement to stairs that is dangerous. We saw several spiders in the house. Our towels smelled like mildew. We couldn't find a broom so we had to call the office & they immediately send us one. I couldn't find baking cake pan or cup cake pan to bake. Some parts of the house get too hot & others too cold.

Beautiful house!! Had a blast!!!
The view from the house was absolutely beautiful!! The house was clean, and very spacious. We have a big family so it's hard to find a house that can accommodate everyone and each have their own rooms! We also loved that they provided towels and little shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and makeup remover towelettes as we forgot most of those items . We enjoyed being so close to the beach, the personal board walk was wonderful since we have so many little ones that need to come in for naps and cooling off :) we have stayed in a couple of homes in the La Playa neighborhood and La Playa # 13 was by far the best one yet!!! My only complaint was there wasn't a tv in every room, most of us wanted to be in our own rooms by the end of the night and we all like to watch a little TV before bed and since there were only two tv' see we're kinda bummed out, but it's nothing we couldn't look over. We are planning on coming back every year for our sons birthday as long as this home is available!!!

Rental Review
Overall, this property was great. We loved the proximity to the beach. The layout of the house worked great for our extended family. The staff was extremely friendly and easy to work with. Our only complaint is that the floors were filthy when we arrived. Although they appear to have been swept, they definitely had not been mopped. The bottoms of our feet were instantly black. Other than that one complaint, everything else was fantastic!

Nice house
Stayed 7 nights with four couples and 8 children.

Pros:
Clean
Freshly painted
Three full bathrooms
Large capacity Washer and dryer in large laundry room

Cons:
We drove to the beach because the "walk to the beach" path was a hike
Balcony pictures showing proximity to beach were deceptive. Beach is probably a quarter mile away
Kitchen was least well equipped of the 10 rentals we have had with Port a Escapes.
There were 4 light bulbs out when we entered the house. One over the steep interior stairs was impossible to replace because of height.
Two washcloths were provided for 12 guests. Better take some if you need them.

Overall: might rent again

Port A Easter get away
The home is clean, and very well kept. The beach being walking distance was a plus for us because he had four small children. After spending some time on the beach, we wanted to shower but found that the hot water was not working. We called and someone was out shortly to take care of the issue which is impressive being that it was Easter weekend. There was plenty of space and my large family was comfortable. Thank yo for making this an enjoyable experience.

Great Spring Break
There were a couple of maintenance problems when we first showed up to the house (probably due to the fact that it was spring break season) but the management addressed and corrected the problems immediately. Overall, a great place to stay!
