Enjoy fishing from the private pier or walk to many of the fine restaurants or bars Port Aransas has to offer. This spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath condo offers everything you will need for the perfect vacation. After a long day at the beach relax in the huge HEATED community pool or sit and have a cocktail while watching the boats pass through the channel. This unit has elevator access. Sorry, pets are NOT allowed. Parking for 2 with required parking permit. Boat parking available, for an additional $20 per night plus tax. Please request when booking.

I love Channelview and have stayed at different units several times. Cleanliness at this last unit could use a good improvement.
The location is great with great sunrise and sunset views, gated space and great pool.

The water pressure in the first bathroom was super low so everyone, seven of us, shared the second bathroom. The freezer handle fell off the first time we touched it. We’ve stayed at better rentals in Channelview.

Very cozy stay
This unit by far one of the best units we have stayed in very roomy and cozy .. Love the view of the pool and the channel from the room. Very beautiful and peaceful stay. We will be booking again very soon !!

Nice place, clean, and quiet. Fishing pier was a plus. Only down fall is the pool was closed for some reason so we weren’t able to enjoy the pool. Would stay here again.

Fabulous stay
Love this place! 2nd time. Super clean, well furnished, concrete fishing dock is only one in Port A, beautiful swimming pool, secured gate. Great customer service.

Awesome as usual
We had a great time and we had plenty of room. The condo grounds were clean and secure.
Cable TV was suspect, but we weren't there to watch movies. The best pier to fish off of and a relaxing pool made this a place we will come back to.

Overall Good
Our stay at Unit 206 (4 nights) was good. The overall condition and cleanliness was OK. We reported a dirty toilet and dead roaches on the floor when we first arrived and they were promptly addressed. Several other issues we didn’t report: 1) TV remote in living area had dead batteries- we bought batteries and replaced. 2) TV in master bedroom never worked. 3) drain plug cover in master shower kept coming loose. 4) lights over vanity in master bath kept flickering on and off. 5) Dishwasher didn’t seem to dissolve detergent pods - dishes always came out slightly dirty. 6) only one of 2 outdoor grills was usable and even it was a real challenge. Both grills should be replaced promptly. But the location was great, fishing was good and the pier was clean. We would stay again but maybe in another unit.

What a great condo - very quiet. Enough supplies for our stay. Would like to know if we bring a boat can we put in the slip next door? Also, I would recommend a couple cookie sheets and wine opener. The only draw back to our stay was no balcony. Other than that, wonderful.

Love Port Aransas and Channel View Condos
The recent updates to the condos since Hurricane Harvey are marvelous. The green lights on the fishing pier are awesome and as always we caught a ton of fish. The condo and grounds were clean and process for check in/check out was superb.

Channelview Port A Visit
Overall it was a great experience. Prior to our arrival the staff was very helpful. Upon arrival the unit (206) was clean and the updates throughout - especially the kitchen and bathrooms was a welcome surprise. Love the implementation of a lock box vs. keys - very helpful. Generous supply of towels and toiletries was much appreciated. The only suggestions would be to include directions on how to use the TV's, Cable, etc. and find a better option for the cable boxes in the bedrooms vs. precariously placed on top of TV monitors. Including local info or publications would be another suggestion and a coat or hat rack in the entry. We enjoyed the lighted pier, but would suggest adding a trash can on the pier and in the garage for daily trash disposal.

Had a blast
Stayed in 206. The furniture was comfortable. The showers are awesome. The full kitchen was great. Not much of a view from the windows. The pier is about 200 feet into the channel. The ships pass by and seem like they are right next to you. The parking spots are tight and people don’t respect the assigned spots. Lots of construction going on but it will make everything even better when done. I give it an 8 out of 10.

Port A Vacation
Our vacation was a combination fishing trip, and beach/swimming experience. Fun for all 3 generations present. The BBQ pits/kitchen allowed us to economize while preparing our own excellent meals. Family was very impressed with the condo and want to return. They also enjoyed the swimming pool and pier to fish from tremendously. The elevator was a bonus for me as I can't walk far due to bad knees. Plus a fantastic view/experience of the ship channel. We will be back. Maybe next time we can have a condo directly overlooking the ship channel.

Thanksgiving at Channelview
We went as a group to Channelview to spend Thanksgiving. We all had a great time. Spent time with family and caught fish! A perfect Thanksgiving for sure! The only downside was the elevators weren't working. We were notified that they wouldn't be. If they had been it would have been absolutely perfect!

Family Christmas stay
We enjoyed our stay. Our grandsons really enjoyed the pier and we liked the fact that it was only accessible by people staying at Channelview. A working elevator would have made unloading our vehicle easier. Next time we will opt for a view.

Stayed in 206, and would highly recommend this unit. Private fishing pier is a plus, and security did check that everyone was a guest of property. Toaster was broken, and management replaced as soon as they were notified. The elevator is very slow, but hopefully you are on island time, so it is a non issue.

Our Summer Getaway
The rental experience was what I expected. Our family has stayed for years at Channelview. We have always had good experiences there which is why we continue to pick channelview. Love the proximity to everything along with the private pier. My kiddos couldn't get enough of the pool. We had an issue with one of the bedroom's TV when we first got there and it was fixed right away. Overall very satisfied with our stay. We'll be back next year!!

Great little hideaway. ??
Perfect place to stay with kids. Pool was a big hit as was the pier. Short distance to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. No traffic. Condo was clean and plenty of room. Very enjoyable.

Nice time
Very nice room, very clean and spacious.
The only complaint if any is check in time. I think adjusting check in time to match check out time would be fare, without having to pay extra.

The Rooms and the hole place was very clean. More detail where the room are located would have helped the map was in the condo not in the lock box.

Channel View. Ahhhhmaaaaayyyyzzzziiinnnnggg!
Great place to stay! We should have stayed an extra night. Such a spacious kitchen, living and dining room and great master shower. The only thing I didn't understand was why the trash had to be taken out if there was an $80 cleaning fee. I don't mind the fee, I get it...but to charge me for cleaning and then provide a list of the do's and don'ts and one is that the trash must be taken out to the dumpster upon check out. I don't get that part but otherwise perfect, pure perfect.

First Visit to Port Aransas
This was our first visit to Port Aransas and we enjoyed our stay at Channel View Condos. We had a few issues that were resolved promptly by PA Escapes. They installed a new microwave and dropped off a new toaster right after we phoned. We also had to have someone in to fix the refrigerator. The unit was clean and as advertised in the photos. (except the stainless steel fridge had been replaced with an older white model) It would have been nice to have a tea kettle and a few coffee mugs. The internet was slow at times. Now for the good things, we walked and biked everywhere. The beach was close by and we could watch the ships coming through the channel. There were lots of restaurants and little bars within walking distance. We enjoyed eating at Moby Dicks, Kodys and Giggitys. Met so many nice people at Bernies during Happy Hour and the PA Rockers are a great band. PA Escapes were great to deal with and we have booked at Channel View for next year.

Beach Adventure
Great fun. Enjoyed the pool ( with four kids a must). Enjoyed fishing on the pier at night, watching the Dolphins swim around under the lights. Still managed to catch speckled trout. Great to have a washer/dryer in the unit. Right in the heart of Port A right on the channel.

great place, but clean your dishes.
very neat property... Absolutely loved the stay. We were a little upset that we pay a cleaning fee with the rate and then we are told that we must do the dishes and take all trash out to the dumpster/street ourselves or face more fees. Did we not already pay a cleaning fee????? With an 11am check out, two couples, kids and all of our luggage, baby toys, and everything else having to be loaded out, the last thing we want to do is any cleaning or face fines.....Other than that annoyance and a late 4pm check in, the stay was great. The unit and property really could not have been any better! Fully supplied kitchen, blender, silverware, plates, the works.... The unit even had a pier so you can watch the dolphins or do some fishing. Really great stay, really great condo!

Nice condo, good service
The condo was very nice, and in a great location on the ship harbor and near the beach and local restaurants. On arrival, there were a few issues with the condo, but the staff worked to resolve them quickly. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Relaxing weekend
Loved the condo. Was right on the channel where you could sit and watch the boats go by. Very relaxing. Pier also available for fishing. The condo was in great shape except for the kitchen faucet which needs to be replaced. Will be staying here again.

Great Weekend Trip
We enjoyed staying at this rental. It was roomy and clean. These units don't have a patio, but the pool area, private pier, and channel-side picnic tables were great. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Place To Stay
We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. It is very nice and exceptionally clean. It is on the second floor but near an elevator so very easy to get to. There is covered vehicle parking and a place for a boat or trailer. It's walking distance to town and on a quiet street that is easy to get to and not on the busy main roads. There is also a great private pier for fishing in the boat channel. We would definitely recommend this condo as a great place to stay in Port A.
