Dolphin Bay CV424 is a super spacious island home offering 5 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, 2 living areas a full kitchen and a kitchenette. The extra large deck off the front of the house is the perfect place to relax in the evening, with games for the family. There are four queen bedrooms and third bedroom you will find a twin over full bunk bed. Forth bedroom will have a full size bed. Lastly, there is super fun twin size boat bed, with a twin size trundle for the little buccaneers. This home is about a 3 minute drive to the beach and many of the restaurants and shops Port A has to offer. Dolphin Bay offers wireless internet and a full size washer and dryer for your use. With over 3000 square feet there is plenty room for your whole family. Come and make Dolphin Bay your home away from home.

Perfect for large groups
We loved the house! It was clean with a well stocked kitchen we cooked a large meal Saturday night and used one of the kitchens and the outdoor grill. We had plenty of room for our group of 16. Easy check in and check out.

Worked out great.
Cute space. Great location for a fishing trip. Only notes I would make would be some bathrooms don’t have great water pressure, floors are soft in some areas and there were water roaches. Given this is a coastal home some things are to be considered possible.

Family vacay 2024 party of 16
This house was perfect size for our group. We had plenty of space for each family. And still had enough room for us to enjoy time together. Only complaint from our party was the water pressure in all the down stairs bathrooms. And a few showers didn't drain properly. Other than that parking was good, space was enough and the air conditioner was cold. If you love the old town Port A feel this is the perfect location. We will definitely use Port A Escapes again and this house.

Needs Improvements
Overall, this property met the basic needs for our group; however, I would not have paid as much for this property knowing there are some serious repairs and easy maintenance that need attention, even for general safety. Flooring is coming apart and has gaps throughout entire house. The arm of the chair in upstairs balcony literally crumbled when leaning on the arm rest. Toilet in the bathroom near the kitchen didn't work properly (you have to wait until it fills after 10-15 min. to flush. A note would help instead of figuring this out on our own). The wifi of the property doesn't match what was sent in the text from mgmt. Finally found something on the refrigerator, & even at that, wifi hardly worked. The placement of the fridge is not ideal as you can hardly get into the freezer. It doesn't fully open and is narrow. The couches need to be replaced as they felt like you were going to fall through them. Finally, there were roaches crawling behind the couch in the main room next to the kitchen two nights in a row. Definitely needs regular pest control. Finally, I would recommend supplying beach towels to guests. Every beach vaca rental we've previously stayed at provides them. Since this was a vacation, I don't want to be bothered calling for repairs or requests. Don't mean to be so negative, but it just seemed like it needs a lot of work that hasn't been suggested by prior guests. On the positive side, this place was in a great, quiet location. Loved the easy access to the beach and shops. It was also very spacious and had ample parking. This place has potential, but needs a lot of love. I would recommend caution in this house given the flooring and chair situation. If major fixes and basic upgrades were in place, I would consider this in the future.

Our fellowship Bible study group trip
We all just needed to get away. Been working long hours not been Port, A in a long time to our surprise. Wow it’s all changed. The growth is amazing not to mention our house that we stayed at just perfect for the amount of us that wanted to get away on a small trip. We definitely will come back and want to stay in the same house. Also have recommended it to my daughter which she stayed with us loved that they’re coming back and bringing their Hill Country youth ranch from Kerrville to stay there as well.

Great place to stay in Port A. Location is great, as you can golf cart around all the local restaurants and bars. Also, easy access to the beach. My two main requests are cleanliness and great AC and neither disappointed. Adorable place to stay with lots of room.

Beautiful spacious home!
This rental was so spacious. All the family members were very comfortable. The home is very beautiful and super clean and tidy upon arrival. We had one issue with the AC in the front part of the home not cooling but that was fixed pretty quickly. We would definitely rent this home again. Great location with easy access the beach.

Family Week in this wonderfully eclectic home.
We have been visiting Port Aransas for Family Beach Week for many years (16 of us, including a 2 year old. This was the best home where we have ever stayed. It is as pictured and is in the "old" part of Port A. Staying here gave us a new perspective, such as finding new coffee spots, etc. Dolphin Bay is close to the jetty and the shipping channel where we could walk to watch the dolphins surfing the bow waves of the ships. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and two great living areas meant more room for all ages and activities. There was always a breeze on the wrap-around verandah where we spent much of our time, if not at the beach. The property is older and charming, well-maintained, and very clean. We had a problem with the internet, but the manager was quick to fix it. We have already booked this home for next year.

Port Aransas best time
Our rental was wonderful. My entire family enjoyed it and the house was great. We had trouble with the wi-fi and it was taken care of right away. The golf cart came with the rental and we enjoyed having it to run around the island. Planning on using them again.

Family Beach Trip
This beach trip included 3 generations of our family. We usually stay at the Beachhead Condos and rent 4+ units. This time we decided to try a big house so everyone could stay together. While we prefer to have a walkway to the beach, this house met all of our needs. There was enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The management company addressed maintenance issues promptly. Everyone had a wonderful time.

It was great! house was very clean, only complaint we had was the upstairs bathroom was locked for assistance and no one ever called us back. And there was only 1 trash bag for us for a 3 night stay. But overall I would I would go back again.

good large family vacation house
Very good rental for large family. Clean and well
equipped.Upstair mattresses could stand to be replaced
but younger folks would be ok with was large enough for our 10 adults ans 3 kids.

Overall this was a great experience. However upon arrival the main sleeping areas were not cool at all. After contacting maintainence, it was determined that the filters on the AC were very dirty and would be replaced the next day. Needless to say our first night was a little uncomfortable but bearable. The AC was fixed the next day and everything was great after that.
