4) No Boats, Trailers, Buses, RV’s allowed in Village Walk

Great Stay
Everything was great during this stay. We were lucky enough to check in 2 hours early. The area was quiet and in a great location to the beach. We would stay here again.

Great beach get away rental!
Very nice unit. Great floorplan the kids loved it. The pool was with in feet of the unit. FYI the unit is now grey not pink like the images in the listing

Excellent beach house
Lots of positives: Port a escapes is a great rental company. They provided starter packs in kitchen and in restrooms. The house and restrooms were very clean. The refrigerator is big and has an ice maker. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans. There was even a charcoal grill available in front patio. Village Walk is a great place to stay and is conveniently located a few miles to beach and not far from Port Aransas restaurants. A/C works great, house stays cold. There are plenty of spaces available for parking. The cable and wifi work great. A few minor notes: The furniture is a little outdated and the house is grey, not pink. I would highly recommend this beach house.

Amazing Vacation in Port Aransas
From ease of booking to accuracy in the description of the house- what an amazing experience! We enjoyed our 5 day stay in our vacation rental. The house was well appointed and exceptionally clean. We were truly blown away by the accuracy of the description and contents of the house. We did encounter one maintenance issue and it was resolved right away. Neither of the two blenders worked- but we worked it out. I would replace it, because Pina Colada's on the porch is important. Also, I would add an option step tool in the master for those who are vertically challenged!

Beautiful
We have been coming to the island for 6 winters now and this was by far the nicest place we’ve stayed. Love the master suite with huge walk-in closet and bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped I appreciated that money was put into something usable like an expensive cutlery set instead of zillions of decorative throw pillows. Having the use of a garage and an easy walk to the pool was icing on the cake, very clean and well maintained

Very Roomy, Great Stay!
It was awesome. The property had plenty of parking, room to hang out on the patio downstairs and upstairs. The kitchen was plenty big for several of us to be in it at once preparing meals, and even a pantry to store things in!

Follow the Sun house review
We loved the house and had a great experience! The house and the property were beautiful and the location was great. There is a beach access road not far from the property, so it wasn't a long drive to the beach at all. We loved that the Village Walk community is gated. We called maintenance because we had light bulbs that were out in the bathroom and issues with a couple of the bedroom TVs, and the guy that came out was prompt and courteous. A couple of negatives were that we saw several large roaches on the walls and ceilings. Two of the bedroom TVs did not work because they were cable boxes and had not been switched to digital. And one last suggestion, there was a small step down into the laundry room. We all tripped on it at some point, the owner might want to put some colored tape or some kind of indicator on the step.

Beach GetAway
We had the best experience with Port A Escapes and loved our house. The house was very clean upon arrival, had all the essentials we needed for the weekend, and was in a great location. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to others. It's steps from the pool and only a few blocks from the beach!

We had a pleasant stay. The weather was great and the house was very comfortable. Loved the front porch. Spent most of our day there.
The pots and pans, and baking pans need replacing. Frying pans were great and there were plenty of dishes and serving dishes. One of the better supplied houses we have stayed in Village Walk. Towels and bars of soap were wonderful
The restaurants are wonderful. We enjoyed Stingray, Seafood and Spaghetti Works, Eats for breakfast, Moby Dicks for breakfast, and Virgina's.

Overall very good. It was a great month in a great house!
Village Walk does not have easy ocean access as we are used to when visiting Port-A. The homes are so close to each other but we went ahead with the rental because we knew November would be quiet but I don't think I would be happy with mid-summer.
Very clean home and everything worked very well. Diningroom/Kitchen table could be larger but the living area may not support that.

4th of July weekend
We had a great time at Follow the Sun during our 4th of July family getaway. The house was decorated beautifully and spacious enough for us all. The location was close to everything and we really enjoyed our stay. The only recommendations would be better mattresses especially in the master and I wish there was direct access to the beach instead of having to drive. Also, the is only a community pool and being a holiday weekend was always filled to the max with adults partying so I could not take my 1.5 year old.

Great Family Time!
upon arrival, everyone commented on how nice our rental home was. It was iclean, well maintained, well stocked., convenient and well decorated. The location was perfect...close to the beach, the pool and to shopping. The children enjoyed playing out in the rocky area of the yard, and on the roomy porch. The quaint walkway was enjoyed by all. We rented a golf cart from a vendor located just across the street. Check in and check out were both very speedy. We look forward to visiting Village Walk ipagain in the future!

Great Stay!!!
This place made for a great vacation. We were blown away by how accurate the photos online matched the condition of the propery. The place was clean and spacious. We do plan on returing. We do wish the beach would have been a walking distance to the propery.

Pretty house driving distance from the beach
The house was very cute in a small gated cluster of vacation homes. I booked for a group of 6 women and we felt very safe during our stay. The neighborhood was generally quiet and we slept well. I was a little disappointed that there was no easily walkable access to the beach, no view, and it was far enough away that you couldn't hear the ocean. The property does not stock beach towels and they do not guarantee the wifi (which did not work during our stay). Overall, I enjoyed our stay. Port Aransas seemed very small so nothing that we needed was very far away (though not very walkable). I will likely choose another property if I visit Port Aransas again. I would have preferred more convenient beach access or a view of the water, working wifi, and beach equipment (beach towels surely, but some chairs or a pail and shovel in the closet would have been nice too). I would recommend this property to those looking for a nice house (obviously a new build) in a safe location with a 2-3 minutes drive down to the water.

First stay with HomeAway gets an A.
Space, location, quality, amenities were all great. Great place for my family and friends. Only complaint I have was lack of soap at bathroom sicks, paper towels, limited amount of towels (1 per person), no bathmats, and a broken microwave. Sounds nit-picky but it did effect our arrival and stay. Other-wise it really was fantastic.

Can't Wait to Return!!
The Flamingo house was perfect for my bachelorette party! Everything was clean, we felt safe in the area and will definitely return! :)
