Fun in the Sun BH102, an adorable condo, is located on the 2nd floor with no elevator access. It offers an open-concept living area provides enough space for your family to sit & relax together. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has two twins. There a two full baths one in each bedroom. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

This condo unit is conveniently close to the large, heated pool, where you can lounge while enjoying beautiful views of the dunes and Gulf of Mexico.

Take a break from the pool in the onsite game room, which offers foosball, ping-pong, air hockey, and a TV lounge area. Perfect for a family vacation or reunion, there are many shaded seating areas to gather, chat, and enjoy a drink with others. Your kids will enjoy the play structure, and you can enjoy lunch on the picnic tables or use the community BBQ grills for a family cookout.

Pets are not permitted in this unit and smoking is allowed outside only.

Per HOA: Before traveling to Port Aransas/Beachhead Condos, please plan the correct number of vehicles you drive in accordance to the rules below. Properly planning the correct number of vehicles prior to your departure will enhance your vacation experience:

Beachhead Condos allows parking for 2 vehicles maximum. Golf carts do count as vehicles. Violators will be towed by the HOA

Sweet little condo in a great location!
Great location. We adore Beachhead, the pool, the view, the pool house. Condo is small, but that’s what we were looking for. Kitchen and bathrooms are particularly tiny. We knew what we were signing up for and were very happy.

Spring Break 2024
Took my daughter and 2 friends and stayed 3 nights, very happy with our condo and pool facilities. The beds were comfortable and furniture was nice except the couch is not very supportive and an area rug in the living room (not in pictures that I reviewed before booking but had been mentioned in other reviews) appears dirty and needs to be cleaned or replaced.

It was peaceful and outstanding, the view was great, the people were great, and the place was not what we expected. It was better than we thought. Sure at night people on top were loud and heard everything at night, but we had to deal with it all our four days. Other than that, we went to the beach and the beach we were at. Thank you

Spring Break 2022
The location, pool and beach access were perfect. The condo was very clean and appropriately stocked with towels, etc. the sofa sleeper was aged and not a comfortable sleeping arrangement. At night when we returned to the condo we would have liked to watch TV, but the equipment was dated and not accessed easily. Parking was a bit odd also. Originally booking said there was an over flow area and we could ask for an additional parking pass but when I asked and one person said yes, the other said no. The confusion of parking passes came from what was posted on the site and then another explanation from the management company. The community was quiet, comfortable and perfect for a family vacation.

We had a fun time. The unit was great! Just one thing, our cars did not fit in the parking space, under the stilts. We have an expedition. Also there were quite a bit of sticker burs in the carpets. Overall it was great though.

Fantastic Weekend Getaway
We had a wonderful time at the Beachhead Condos. The condo was walking distance to the beach and the pool was steps away. The condo was well equipped (but I wish they had a cutting board).

We really had a great time and the condo was exactly what we wanted!
The only issue we had was was a leaky air conditioner vent in the ceiling of the master bathroom. We did send an email and expected maintenance to come and fix it, but... we did not wait around to see if they came. It was still leaking when we left. Hope the next people that stay here can enjoy it as much as we did!

We’ve used Port A Escapes and Beachhead condos three times. Simple put, you truly escape from all your worries. The condos have character and a view for you to enjoy. Some better than others. Very Enjoyable Stay
Port A Escapes Office and customer service was excellent. Super resourceful and gave clear communications leading up to our stay and even after. Beach Head Condo was clean, updated, spacious for 4 adults and was very easy access to the beach. Courtyard included playground for kids, grills, and picnic tables. Pool was always clean and easy access from our room. Will definitely be back to visit and will highly recommend for others!

SandFest 2017 Stay
The unit was wonderful. The location was great, the unit contained everything we needed, was clean and nicely decorated. We used the BBQ and picnic table Saturday night and it was very nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the evening.

Great Location
It was located close to the beach. I really liked the pathway they had that led right to it. The playground was great and easy to get to. The pool was practically outside our door which I loved. The pool I a good size pool. It was never crowded. At most there were three families there at a time, including our family of 5. The physical location of the property was excellent. It was near by tons of gift shops, restaurants, and little coffee or ice cream shops. We had no need to leave our area, everything was close by.
About the room had a weird smell to it, kinda chemical. After a day it wasn't as noticeable. I did see two small roaches, one in the toilet and one in a kitchen drawer. I saw the roaches once, but that was the only negative experience I had at this condo. Overall, this place was wonderful. The condo was very spacious and the beds very comfortable. Despite the smell and our tiny housemates, I would come back again.

I have been staying at Beachhead since I was a kid. I recently brought my own kids as well as a friend with hers. Everyone loved it and had a blast. The condo and grounds were clean and pretty. Great staff and location.

Perfect weekend condo

Enjoyed our time away
Had a wonderful stay. Was so nice to just walk to the beach! The weather did not cooperate as much as we had hoped, so we had to stay inside more than we had planned. Was glad to see they had a basket with movie classics, books and magazines that the whole family could enjoy. Would definitely stay here again :)

Pics don't do justice
From the outside, it may not look gorgeous , but the unit was just that. Beds were very comfy, kitchen was very well stocked, spacious living room area. My family was very happy to have found this unit and we plan the make this our regular vacation spot. A few side notes, Parking spaces say two, however there is no additional "separate space" we had to simply park right behind our other vehicle, and the carport we parked under was very low to the vehicle. The large frying pan needs replacing and we could've used more towels, but other than that, we were very happy. Pool is also very nice- great view and location! Can't wait to go back!

Good times...but...
Great property. Great amenities. Good location. One problem - the unit we stayed in had plumbing issues. The toilets and tubs kept backing up. I would stay on the property again but request a different unit.

Lovely clean and refurbished home in a great location.
This was a lovely recently refurbished condo in a great location. Close to the beach and the town centre, it more than met our requirements. We didn't swim because it was too cold during Spring Break, but the kids loved the play park.

Fun in the sun was!
The property was just as described and pictured. The recent remodel made fun in the sun very comfortable and inviting. The location is at the back side of the development, so if you must have a great view or short walk to the beach, probably not the rental for you. Everything considered, we loved it and will look to rent again on our next visit to Port A.

The condo was great
The condo was great but when we got there, no one informed us that we were supposed to go to another location to pick up the keys. Also, when we got the keys, they didn't work and we had to wait for someone to come from the office to unlock the door. After all that, we had a great stay.

Good experience at Fun in the Sun
This is a nicely appointed condo in the heart of Port Aransas. It was a good place to stay for the price and it was clean and quiet. We didn't spend a lot of time in the condo because we were out sight-seeing, etc... but overall we were pleased with this good value during Spring Break.

The distance to the beach, park, and pool was perfect. sould have had a better view though, lights on the walk to the beach, and pets should have had to been on a leash.
