This 4 bedroom/2 1/2 bath home is beautiful, it has everything you need, very roomy and loved the colorful decor, the pool is right outside this home, awesome customer service, all bedrooms upstairs & has a sofa bed, definitely plan to rent again!!!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Harpers Berry. The home actually felt larger than the pictures. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us to hang out and visit. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, utensils and pans. The pool was right outside our back door, which was awesome. The beach was just a quick drive.

I loved the house, big spacious, they provided all the kitchen ware which I was surprised and even had a spice rack. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy and everything was clean when we got there. The only down fall I didn't like was the entrance to the house, the AC in the way and a big bush I feel needs to be trimmed so you have a walk way to get in. Also the pool was a little dirty, it had hair, dead bugs & spiders- We went in and walked out and went to our friends pool, that was the only thing.
The house is great! Close to everything.

This was our first stay at this property and I have to say that our group had a wonderful time! There was plenty of space to gather for meals and game time but also enough room to spend a quiet moment. We enjoyed the convenience of having a semi-private pool and the close proximity to the beach (less than 7 minutes). The house was clean and the kitchen contained all that we needed to prepare our meals. Check-in and check-out were a snap and when we did have to call maintenance after hours, they were pleasantly polite and professional and arrived in a timely manner. The issue was resolved in a short amount of time and we continued our visit with no other issues. The screens on the patio need some attention but overall we would definitely recommend this property to friends and family!

This house was perfect for our family. We cook a lot and the spacious kitchen was fantastic!
Highly recommend the house for large families.
The only thing we didn’t like was the fact that we could hear everything throughout the house like it has “thin walls”. Our teenagers like to stay up late and are kind of loud so we had to shut them down early which was no big deal to us :)
It would not keep us from staying there again.

Wonderful loved the place well stocked with nice kitchen ware. Pool right out the door with screened in porch. Location is really great walking distance to everything. Management was very good about everything we needed. It was 68 days of a good time, be back next year.

We originally reserved the house next door to this one and were a little worried when we were told they had to move us to another rental. We should not have been. This house is laid out really well, was very clean, right next to the pool, and the location allowed us to walk to most of our favorite restaurants. The beach is maybe a 3 minute drive.

We had one minor maintenance issue with a doorknob, but the management sent somebody almost immediately and had a new doorknob installed within an hour or two, so no complaints there.

Also, we were there during a pretty dead week (and a cold one), so I can't say it is always this way, but the neighborhood was very calm and quiet. We enjoyed sitting in the covered porch area at night and having a drink while the kids played inside.

All in all, we were very happy with our stay and will definitely be renting again.

PS if you stay make sure to enjoy Beach and Station Street Grill just a 5 minute walk to the North. Best fried seafood ever.

Harpers Berry has a great location, in the heart of town. Beds are not comfortable.
Port A Escapes needs to get with the times and avoid the cattle call for check in like Turnkey. Codes need to be emailed upon completion of cleaning to avoid craming into the little room with the real estate agent.

Harpers Berry is a sweet spot . Its a light , airy , fun space .Lovely bedrooms , cozy beding . Great bathtowels , and plenty of them !! Kitchen well stocked with anything you need for cooking. I imagine its much loved by its owners and it shows . I like to be intown so i am able to walk or bike around town oe to beach.

This is my third rental in the Sunrise Cottages complex. I am a huge fan of the complex and the design of the houses in the complex. the pool is soooo great to have right there and it's always clean. As far as the unit itself, it was the least well-appointed of the three. The mattresses weren't as nice and the couch wasn't as nice, but it had the screened in porch, which was a great addition, and it had what we needed. The management company was responsive - smoke detectors were beeping and the kitchen didn't have kitchen towels or scissors. The maintenance guys were great - super quick and friendly. I would stay here again, but Unit 6 would be my first pick and Unit 9 would be my second.

Harper's Berry was very nice and clean. There was plenty of room for 8 adults, 1 toddler and a small dog! The one thing I would change is the size of the pool. The pool that is shared with the other houses is small and there is a 15 person limit for the pool. So, when every rental is full, there's a lot of people trying to get in.

Really great place. Sleeping accommodations were just as described. Towels were bare minimum, we had 9 people registered and only 10 towels for a 4 day stay. Same problem with the toilet tissue. The kitchen is nice, however only 2 small sauce pans and 2 small skillets were the extent of the cookware. Even with these minor issues we would stay here over and over! The management company is very professional, but not prepared to deal with issues that arise on the weekends!

The house was great, and perfect for four couples. The only thing I have to complain about is the fact that the downstairs gets really hot during the day and even evenings. They didn't put in a separate AC unit for downstairs to the upstairs gets very cold wall downstairs stays pretty hot. The icemaker also didn't work so we had to keep bags of ice on hand all weekend, which was an annoyance. The location really is perfect!

Nice clean home with community pool access. Updated furnishings are nice.... professionally decorated. Couch extremely uncomfortable to sit in and need replacing. Fully stocked kitchen but bring your own pans to cook in if you are picky. House has everything you need, just wish it was closer to beach. Suggest renting a golf cart when you get there!

We hosted a family reunion at the surise cottages and we stayed at the Harper's Berry condo. It was our third stay here although non off the family had ever stayed at any of the condos before. As always Harpers Berry was ready early and ready to go. Everything you need for a weekend, week or longer is there. I highly recommend them for your stay at Port A

The rental was beautiful! As soon as we pulled up I knew it would be great. The garage was convenient. The pool was so much fun and area was clean! We swam most of the time! The house was extremely clean and decoreated very beautifuly. The TV's were nice! The dishes were good and the silverware great! The ac worked well. The enclosed patio was really great and the breeze felt good. I would stay here again in a heart beat. We have made great memories here! Definately recommend this rental

Overall the house was nice and I would stay again. The only downside would be that the porch furniture was in poor condition, dirty, and not usable. Also, the walls were covered in dirty handprints both upstairs and down. Although the house could have been cleaner we enjoyed the room, location, and decor. The property management company was very friendly and went out of their way to stay late to give us the keys when we were delayed due to the ferry wait.

The property was very clean and had all the amenities for our stay. The pool was a great feature and enjoyed it very much. The kitchen was large and open and had enough room for all the cooks. A few minor issues were the screened porch area, furniture was damaged and screens were slashed; front door handle was loose; no outside shower available even though all other units had outside showers; no propane to BBQ-had to use grill in pool area.

I would have liked to have had things like salt, pepper, washing detergent (only enough for more than one load), available at the condo.
We had to go buy these and used very little. It would be nice if it was there for everyone. The other thing lacking was bath towels.
We would have appreciated the option to get more if needed.
I have to admit the place did not look quite as clean as last year. The furniture on the back porch is molded and rattan is busted up - I did not want to sit on that furniture. Back door was moldy, needed to be cleaned.
When I called for key bc I got locked out when husband went fishing and friend went to beach, I was told I would have to pay 25.00 just to borrow the key to unlock the door. I think it should be free if I pick it up and bring the key back to you. I didn't appreciate that!
Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. Beds are comfy.

This rental was great. The only issues were a broken grill (that we tried multiple times/ways to fix) and a DVD player that didn't work on the main TV downstairs. There were also holes in the walls in several rooms upstairs and marker written near them. Not a problem but not something we did. We would stay again but maybe in another unit in same complex.

As you can see, I gave everything a 5 star rating except for the amenities., primarily in the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is not very well furnished---the pots and pans are deplorable and the silverware very cheap. Fortunately I brought my own fry pan and I had a friend bring down my silverware. The couch is very uncomfortable --especially for a month stay. I wished I had access to a vacuum cleaner for the rug during the month. But, all else was just fine and we enjoyed our stay and the proximity to town conveniences. The staff at Port A was very helpful in our request to look at other properties for next winter. We will be back!

We had a great time at this house and stayed for almost 2 weeks. We have little ones, so the stairs were a little scary (pretty steep and the landing is concrete). We put up our baby gates on their bedroom doors and the landing and it worked pretty well. It's a great set up with a screened in porch and plenty of space inside. Beds are comfy and there's a King in the master...woo hoo! Decor is cute ;-) Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and grocery store.

that it was advertised with 2 bicycles and
one of the bikes was broken when we arrived. The bikes were part of the reason we chose it. The house was well equipped and clean

We have stayed at Harper's Berry 2 times when we have traveled to Port A for a fishing tournament. We have enjoyed our stay both times! I love that there are 4 bedrooms, and 2.5 baths. The decor is fun, and having the pool right out back just seals the deal. We plan on returning!

This was our first time to vacation in Port A - the property is very clean, nicely furnished, the neighbors were fun, the pool was fantastic.
The only problem we had was the propane bbq grill was delapidated and unusable (not to mention the cost of a propane tank!) I think they should replace it with a charcoal grill. The bike had a broken sproket and the trash can was missing. Over all it was a great experience.

This house was great! After unloading my kids begged to get in the pool, it was great that the pool was right out the back door. The pool area has lots of chairs and a great big covered area that my grandma enjoyed sitting under. It was very convenient that I could open the blinds and watch my kids swim. The house was very clean and beds were comfortable. The only complaint was that outside shower was covered up with a cover so we couldn't use it. We then looked for a hose but the only hose we could find was a soaker hose. Since that wouldn't work, we borrowed the neighbors hose so we could spray off all of our beach stuff. The neighbors were super nice as well. Also, the big trash can that should have been outside was missing. We used the big dumpster that was down the road a bit. Overall it was a great weekend and we would definitely stay here again.

Nice cottage with fun, modern decor. Really appreciate the fact that this unit is pet friendly and you can also use their one car garage. Great locale where you can ride your bike or golf cart to the store, shops,restaurants, etc.. Love the fact that the pool area is QUIET most of the time and people here respect the curfew. (we used to own a coastal unit elsewhere where other rental co's. didn't enforce the pool curfew and you'd have people partying til the morning hrs) If you want a great family place stay here, you'll love it.

We love staying here and Patrick is very accommidating to us. The only complaint I have is we had to buy our own trash bags. I did not really know this and for $300 a night trash bags should be provided. Otherwise everything was GREAT! Lovely place and very clean!!!

This brand new construction is made for good times! The 4 bedroom condo is fresh, super clean, with touches of bright decor. Lots of windows make it seem even bigger and the fully detached layout makes it feel like home. We love the location; bike to beach, stores and the best neighborhoods in town. We want one!

I personally would never put white furniture in a rental home. The home was lovely and decorated nicely. This is our 13th year coming to do Beach to Bay with our family, so we always look forward to it! We did notice one of the white chairs had a tear in it and also the rug in the kitchen was not clean, I did call and I did express my concerns about this upon our arrival.
