High Tide Hacienda GW103

This home had everything needed for our stay! What a gorgeous property with perfect views and all you needed to make your stay so comfortable!
Plenty of room to spread out and plenty of space to be together! Literally a 3 minute walk across the private boardwalk to the beach! Having the community pool was amazing as well! Golf cart rental was delivered right to the office for us and a discount from that company was offered to guests staying in this resort area! Highly recommend!

It seemed the sand dunes were raised because we could not see as much of the people and carts on the beach like previous years. The house is in good shape and the outdoor furniture had new cushions. Within Gulf Waters I was pulled over by a security guard in a golf cart because he did not see the pass on my dash. Had one issue w beeping smoke alarms and the PAE maintenance crew came and fixed it quickly. We took in Mardi Gras parades in Aransas Pass, North Padre Island and Port A. It was a good stay.

We visited for Spring Break and absolutely loved the property! The beds are comfortable and the floor plan is perfect with a large bedroom, bathroom and living area downstairs for the kids and bedrooms upstairs for adults. We stayed with another family for a week and our time flew by bc we had such a blast. The community is great and beach is super close! We rented a golf cart which was perfect for beach access and exploring the coast! Thank you for a hidden gem and fabulous vacation full of amazing memories!!!

Property was just like it looks in the pics. Nothing deceiving. Clean, open spaces, fantastic location right on the beach. Had everything we needed and then some. Even had plenty of sand toys and a gas and charcoal grill. Only slight downside is having to navigate your way through the RV park to get there. It could get confusing at times and had to dodge kids and people walking to the beach, but I did enjoy looking at all the nice RV spots. Book it, you won't regret it.

Second time at this rental during January. It’s comfortable especially the outside seating. Smoke alarms began to randomly beep, always in the middle of the night, and staff from PAE came quickly in the morning to fix them. The owners leave kid toys for the beach and inside. Beach access is at mile marker 55. Outstanding sunrises!

Good experience, would go again. Great property, minor problems attended to very quickly. Great access to uncrowded, beautiful beach.
Nice large downstairs bedroom and living area. 3 more bedrooms upstairs, one of which plus living area have great views of the Gulf. Well stocked kitchen, beach cart available with multitude of kids toys--no need to bring your own.

We spend January in Port A. After having rented several homes with outstanding gulf or channel views, this house has the most comfortable chairs and sofas including the outside deck furniture. It was quite nice to sit outside reading for hours with glass barriers providing protection from cool winds. The only maintenance issue was a storm which dropped 2 inches of rain, the internet and cable went out, the repair guys showed up and reset the breakers in a place where we didn’t have access. .

Our stay at the High Tide Hacienda was outstanding. We were there for 5 nights, and never had a trouble or a worry. This is our second year staying with Port A Escapes, and we intend to use them every year. The house was clean, cool, and had the view and access as described.

We were very pleased with our vacation rental. It was in a great location, beach/ocean views from main living area upstairs, quick walk to the beach with easy access, just a few minutes and an amazing upper deck to hang out with family that easily seated 10-12 people. A true beach front view! Large patio to sit out and drink a cup of coffee. The location is steps away from the crossing to the beach. Crossing is large enough for a golf cart but with this location you do not need to rent one. Yes they have WIFI that works well. My family of 5 was very comfortable and still had an entire downstairs that could fit another family. The RV resort offers their pool and activity center. It’s a beautiful pool and the people that stay in RVs are respectful and quiet. This is a perfect spot for a family looking for private access to beach. House was very clean and beds very comfortable. Bathrooms nicely remodeled. This is our second time staying and we will definitely be back.

We loved the location of the vacation home. It was a quick walk to and from the ocean/beach via the boardwalk.
The 2 story house worked perfectly for our family that visited over Thanksgiving. They had the 1st floor to themselves. The view from the 2nd floor was unbelievable.
Our family is ready to come back next year.

Excellent! The proximity to the beach and completely unobstructed views of the ocean made this place perfect for our family! Great porch overlooking the beach and waves. Best view in Port A. The RV park/resort was excellent as well. Beach buggy rental is a must and was super fun!

From the moment the reservation was made, we received wonderful communication from check in - check out. The home was in mint condition, tastefully decorated and everything we needed to cook and entertain was hands on. Space was great for 3 families with kids-wonderful lower level, upper level was great for dining and enjoying the view. Walk way to the beach was steps away and we were able to drive our golf cart on the path. We used the pool and loved the low key atmosphere there,everyone was friendly. Great location to shops and dinner stops! Beds, t.v and washer/dryer all in great condition. Would recommend to all and our family will re-visit next season.

Beautifully decorated, updated and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Best part was being steps away from the beach. Location can't be beat. Accomodations were great. Kids enjoyed their bunkbeds and area downstairs. Upstairs bedrooms are great, and view from deck overlooking beach is amazing. Definitely coming back!

Four generations of my family gathered for a week at the beach. It was a great time, house was clean and comfortable, AC worked great. Easy access to the beach. The bottom floor bedroom & living area was perfect for my daughter and her family. House was well stock w/ kitchen appliances. Beds comfortable, well furnished. We loved it here and hope to return.

We rented this home for our family because our son was graduating from A&M Corpus. It was perfect for our family of 9 adults. It is close to the boardwalk that crosses over to the beach, which made it easy to pull our wagon full of beach gear. It is located in a convenient location...close to Port Aransas and convenient to Corpus Christi.

The house was big enough for our group, and the open floor plan was a plus. The view from the upper deck is spectacular, and was a great place to hang out. Being directly on the beach was a big advantage. The sunrises were gorgeous.

We arrived after hours, and found that the power was out in part of the house. It was just a breaker, and once we reported it, it was fixed within 15 minutes.

We did have reservations about being located next to an RV park. However, it was not a problem all. It is a beautiful resort, and a friendly resident actually aired up the tire on our wagon.

This is a lovely house, and we would consider renting it again.

Would have been all five stars. The property management was quick to respond to the need of having a broom. He was very helpful answering any questions, and a pleasure to work with. What is missing with this property are small inexpensive items that would make the stay easier for the guests without investing much money. Five hangers in the house for a home for up to 10 guests? The two dishtowels were totally inadequate. We did not feel it was appropriate for us to have to buy clothes hangers, or a few more dish towels at this per night rate. The locked door between the bathroom, and one bedroom is a safety issue, as the window does not open in case of fire. (only one way out, not code at least in our state) Having said this, the location is wonderful for a relaxing family get away, and I would recommend staying at this beach home.

We stayed at the property in Sept 2016 and were very pleased with the accommodations. I can't speak to busy times but that time of year the beaches were perfect. There were a few people out but no crowds! The home has everything you need and had a great setup so that the kitchen and living plus the master are all on the second floor rather than having it on the third floor which causes a lot of stair climbing. With two small children we were happy this was a two story, not a three! One flight of stairs up and down several times a day was enough. You can't get a better Gulf view. The house juts out further than any of the others so your view is never obstructed and you are not staring at the people next door while you are enjoying the night stars. The home has enough room for multiple family members and two living areas to spread out. The kitchen has all the pans and dishes anyone would need. The golf cart boardwalk was also a plus! We found a gem and would definitely be staying here again.

Our two families (9 people) had plenty of room to spread out and relax in this beautiful house over Labor Day weekend. We especially enjoyed the comfortably furnished deck overlooking the sea and the large windows in the living area that allowed us to continue to enjoy the scenery when indoors. The proximity of the boardwalk made our trips back and forth to the beach with kids easy. The house itself was VERY clean, tastefully decorated and well cared for. Everything was in working order. Someone had even set the table in the dining room so we felt personally welcomed on arrival :) The only issue we encountered was some roaches in the kitchen on the first night. The property management company's response was friendly, prompt and professional. They sent someone over to spray a kid-safe product right away. The exterminator confirmed that roaches and ants are a typical problems in the area in hot dry summer months. The location is unique and close enough to town. The beach was pristine and not very crowded as well. We had a great time and would eagerly rent this house again.

Our 4 night stay was great. Plenty of room for all 9 of us. Everything was in good shape however had problems getting WiFi going. Called office 3 times and got 3 different answers from No WiFi to can't help you. Later Maintaince showed up unexpected and got it going. Thanks. Gulf Views from the deck were wonderful. We utilized this house to attend my sons graduation for Texas A&M Corpus. It is a very nice house and has a great location. We had 2 small issues with a tv and the oven and found out when we checked out that we should have called and they would have taken care of it. These issues did not affect our stay. I would consider it a great location and a very nice house very close to the beach with a great view! I am glad the owners allow it to be utilized and our entire family enjoyed the stay!

The house we rented was a perfect place to enjoy the good weather in South Texas and get out of ur cold climate. It is a perfect beach house in that it feels casual and does not requirer a lot of extra care, and the access to the beach is very close. We felt very safe and secure, and the house had everything one would need for a relaxing vacation. Except for some bugs and some mice which were promptly gotten rid of, it was perfect.

Wanted a place big enough for the whole family and this was perfect. I was surprised after pulling in - don't let the rv's throw you. This is a well kept quiet area with a very nice pool area. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. I hope to come back next year.

We stayed at Sea-Esta with another family over the 4th of July. The location was great with a great view of the gulf from the balcony. The set up of the house was great and allowed us to put the kids downstairs in their own spot. There were several community rules we weren't aware of, so please ask at check-in to avoid any issues. There is some maintenance that could be done on the house but overall it was great. I would stay here again.

Fridge would not work and meat spoiled (to tune of $75.00 worth!) When mentioned to Prop Manager it was obvious this was known problem but ignored before our stay... very disappointing! Other than loss of funds for meals, it was wonderful!

view was fantastic, the beach was average at best (way to much seaweed), when the wind wasn't blowing the mosquitos were terrible, some dodrs would not open and others the doorknobs were very loose. still a very good getaway.

The house was beautiful except for a couple of small problems we encountered. The upstairs hall bathroom requires some work. The toilet is barely attached to the floor. The refrigerator did not keep the food very cold and so we were worried about spoilage. Other than that, we were very happy with the stay

Property manager from Port A Escapes is the greatest, so nice to deal with, this was our second time to rent from them. We loved this property, it was very clean,and had everything we needed. (Carpet on second floor was stained, needs to be replaced with tile). Could not find better location.

It was a great experience (except the weather). The property is in generally good condition. The salt air is taking it's toll and the outside needs attention. Things we had to buy to move in: hangers (almost none), utensils (very few), potholders (none)and a rug for the shower (which we left). The ice maker in the refrigerator is broken, so we made ice the old fashion way, but not a big deal. The inside was clean on the surface and we were happy, but it is in need of a deep clean. These items did not detract from our enjoyment, but need attention. I would not hesitate to recommend it to friends. The price was right. We owned rental property and were faced with these same comments all the time. We would rent this property again.

My husband and I and 4 other couples loved the privacy afforded by this 5 bedroom house. The stairs were a little steep for those with strained backs and bum knees. Be sure to bring your own large bowls, sharp knives, etc. if you're cooking. Also, no pot holders was a problem. Little problems, but lots of enjoyment being right on the beach.

It was obvious the owners took pride in the way the house was decorated and stocked with the necessary items. there was no shortage of anything. When you rent and you know that the belongings there are clean, nice and plentiful the renter then takes pride in maintaining that beauty. We are already planning our next years trip and hope we can get this same house again. Thanks to the owners for taking such pride in their home and sharing that with me and my family.

I reserved this house for my daugther's birthday celebration and it was a great property. The only thing that was disappointing was not having access to the pool as originally stated on the website. Other than that, it was very spacious, the rooms and decor were all very warm and welcoming. The access to the beach was perfect!! Oh yes, it would have been nice to have directions on how to use all the remote controls to the main TV.

We recently took a family vacation which included 5 adults (ages 26-65) and 2 kids (ages 3 & 7) to Port Aransas (our 1st time). My husband & I (seniors) took the first floor and everyone else stayed upstairs. This house is awesome. The wonderful upstairs deck overlooks the ocean and the sound of the waves make you feel like you're only a few feet from the ocean. The boardwalk is so convenient from the house. The house is extremely roomy. I highly recommend this home for rental plus the rental agency was SUPERB!!
