There is also a game room, a huge living room with over-sized L shape leather sofa just perfect for your group of 16, and two large decks for taking in the gulf views and enjoying the breezes. Cool off in the private pool in the backyard while cooking dinner on a large gas grill. For larger groups check out our sister property located directly behind House of Views, The Big Kahuna. The two houses combined offer 12 bedrooms with two private pools!

The house was great. It had plenty of room, in a great location convenient to town and has a short walk to the beach. The extra refrigerator in the garage for drinks was nice. The pool was a good depth for kids and had plenty of shade.

Perfect space for multiple families
House was clean and had everything we needed. Location perfectly convenient. Multiple places to hang out so even with 16 people it never felt tight or crowded. Would happily stay again.

Fabulous Week With Family
Stayed May 1-8, 2025. Husband and I, two daughters, their partners, and two grandkids, ages 3 and 4 months . Neighborhood was so nice and the walkway to the beach was great. Perfect location. Plenty of available parking. House was lovely, incredibly clean, and had EVERYTHING we needed and then some. We have stayed in several lovely houses in Port A, but House of Views (and it truly has GREAT views) had the best stocked and organized kitchen out of all of them. LOTS of drinkware and multiple sets of nice dishes. Plenty of cookware and bakeware. Multiple stockpots suitable for a shrimp boil. Keurig AND drip coffee makers, GOBS of salt and pepper, blender, toaster and toaster oven. Only thing missing was a can opener. Plenty of paper towels, trash bags and toilet paper for our stay. Brought our own, but weren’t needed. Small amount of dish soap was provided, but no starter amount of dishwasher tabs or sponge were provided. Pool was very clean and all the furniture around it and on all the decks was fab. The elevator was GREAT and a real lifesaver hauling stuff between the multiple floors. Comfy beds and plenty of towels and washcloths. Stacked washer/dryer was great. BYOPods. Extra fridge for drinks (with a working ice maker!) in garage was a huge plus. Lots of sand toys and boogie boards were also available. Golf cart (six seater) was clean, in working order and great fun. Bit of confusion upon arrival, however. No info re golf cart codes or keys provided on site. Called Port A Escapes and was advised that they only manage the property, not the golf cart, and that we should have been contacted prior by Island Outfitters. No contact had been made. No phone number provided. I googled and called Island Outfitters to find that their voice mailbox was full. Left message. They eventually responded by text, code was given and we were good to go. So, be sure to pursue that info before you arrive.

the house location was spectacular, the addition of the golf cart was sensational, the elevator also was an exceptional addition for luggage, groceries, and to assist my father in law.

Wonderful house and location. We had a blast!!
This house was clean, located very near to the beach and to local grocery, and shopping. We had a few questions before checkin and had speedy, kind service too.Everything was great!!

Beautiful Home
Prettiest home we’ve stayed in and we’ve stayed in quire a few !
I must say the three floors are not great if you have 80+ knees, but they are for the view ! We also enjoyed the location and access to the boardwalk to the beach. As for the staff of Port A Escapes, they were great as usual.
We have used this management co. for the past several years, and we will again !

Beautiful house and location
Here are some of the things we enjoyed about our house and stay.
*loved the 3 floor plan for 5 adults and 4 kids! When they were in the basement game room and we were in living room, the noise was like background! ��
*beautifully appointed house. Nice king suite on 3rd floor, and 5 BR and 3 full bathrooms on 2nd floor
*the walk to the beach was so fun and easy! Nice quiet beach. Lots of people but very family oriented. We had plenty of room for our pop up canopy and for kids to play nearby.
*the private pool was wonderful! NOTE: the pool was quite cloudy and sandy when we arrived. We called the oncall number within 2 hours of arrival Friday pm. Never received a return call.... Called again the next afternoon and someone did come to assess and check, then later that day arrived to retreat (shock) the pool. It did look better by Sunday morning.
*kitchen had everything you may have wanted for cooking facilities and storage

Overall, we loved this house and location!

A Great Beach House
This house was definitely a great beach house. The house had a definite beach vibe and had all the amenities you needed and then some. It was definite walking distance to the beach and if you didn't want to do the beach for a day then you could swim in the pool. My family was very happy with the place. This house was the perfect escape for a beach vacation.

The elevator and golf cart make the difference here!
All as described, clean, kitchen well stocked, comfy.

For convenience, the elevator is a lifesaver for stocking up on groceries and such... the golf cart included takes the cake for getting supplies and ppl out to the beach!

House of views 06/02/24
We go to Port Aransas every year for our annual family vacation. This was our first time using Port A Escapes and staying in the House Of Views, we stayed for 5 days. We were very impressed with the house. Very clean, kitchen is FULLY stocked with cookware and utensils, plenty of space, awesome view of the ocean and a great pool. Our only complaint is the AC would not keep the 1st and 2nd floor cool. The unit was set to 74 but couldnt get the lower levels below 80 degrees. Other than that great house. We will be booking again next year.

Perfect Family Fun
We had a wonderful time at House of Views! Everything was comfortable and functioning, the kitchen tools were well stocked, and the house was beautifully decorated. Everyone was happy with the house from the 2 year old to the 80 year old - we will definitely consider House of Views for our future vacations. Thanks y'all!

Family Vacation
Our family enjoyed our stay at the House of Views. Even though it is off the beach, I understand why the home is named House of Views.
The large third floor room which includes the kitchen, family room and access to the porch facing the ship channel was much larger than the pictures show. The kitchen was fully equipped to meet our needs.
The house needs some maintenance repairs with the kitchen faucet, light bulbs, and in the second floor bathrooms. We also enjoyed use of the golf cart, but did not realize we had to call another company to get the code. The information was not in the house.
The property was clean. The manager responded promptly to our questions regarding the middle floor A/C. The beach, pool, golf cart, and house provided our entertainment so we did not venture out to any restaurants.
In comparing the prices of other homes, we were very pleased and would consider returning to this home again.

Fabulous Property
This beautiful home exceeded our expectations. All 12 of us who stayed there were impressed by the decor and all the details that made it delightful. Located just a few feet from the boardwalk to the beach, the house offered impressive views of the water. We only had two minor complaints, an air hockey table that didn't work and a metal dining chair that needed repair. These were the only tiny flaws in an otherwise perfect experience.

House of Views, great location for large family!
House of Views made our week in Port A absolutely fun and memorable! The property lives up to its name with great outdoor and indoor areas. We especially enjoyed the pool, community room, and outdoor eating areas. We would rent it again!
