The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed to prepare meals during your stay. Guests will also enjoy a washer and dryer, complimentary private Wi-Fi, cable TV, fresh linens, and towels. Each bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed, and the sleeper sofa provides additional sleeping space for extra guests.

Step outside and enjoy everything this property has to offer. Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, the home provides covered parking for two vehicles, plus additional space for your boat, trailer, golf cart, or recreational gear. A secured storage and laundry area makes it easy to store your fishing poles, surfboards, and beach equipment.

Relax on the covered balcony while enjoying coastal breezes, or head down to your private outdoor oasis. The fully fenced yard is perfect for furry family members, and the outdoor shower makes rinsing off sand quick and easy. Cool off in the private in-ground swimming pool, or enjoy the variety of family-friendly outdoor amenities including a volleyball net, putting green, basketball hoop, and yard space for games and relaxing in the sun.

This home is pet-friendly, so your four-legged companions are welcome to join the fun. Pool heating is available upon request for $50 + tax per day. Winter Texans and long-term renters are always welcome.

- This is a PET-FRIENDLY RENTAL. Pet fees are an additional $20.00+tax, per pet, per night. A maximum of 3 pets are allowed. Additionally, a pet-cleaning fee is also charged, which is $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days, and $100 for stays of 30 or more days.

This unit is conveniently located in town, real close to the beach and just a few minutes off the ferry. The house is well appointed and is a stand alone unit. Unit is under new ownership and is being updated with new furniture. Super quiet with a heated, private swimming pool and and area out back where approved pets can run. Highly recommend.

beach home was great! few issues nothing major, but maintenance was quick to respond landscaping by the pool area was a bit overgrown (nothing major) and kids had a great time in the heated pool hope to be back next summer!!!

Great trip
Everything was great for the most part. The private pool was perfect for our little family. My son and I also enjoyed playing basketball in the driveway. Another bonus was that the property had a washer and dryer, so we were able to knock out the laundry before we went home. My only grievance was that the neighboring unit shared the "private yard". We stayed three nights and had a great time, but there were some guests in the adjacent unit on the second night and that's when we discovered that their unit had a gate to our unit's "private yard" and they were playing with their puppy and letting him take care of his business while we were lounging by the pool. Overall, not a big deal, but the shared component of the yard was not disclosed and there was a little less privacy than I would have preferred due to that.

Overall 4 out of 5. The location is convenient and quiet. The beds lack comfort for my liking. One of the plants needs to be cut back by the back gate so you don’t get hit in the face each time going through it. The house was clean. Also, the rental is for sale. I will definitely check status of house next time I rent.

Fantastic Stay – Perfect Location!

We had an amazing stay at this vacation rental! The location couldn’t be better—tucked away in a quiet and peaceful area, yet just a short walk to the beach and shopping. It was so convenient to have everything we needed within walking distance.

The home itself was cozy, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was also very easy to find, and the covered parking was a great bonus.

The pool was fantastic—clean, refreshing. We really enjoyed spending time there after a day at the beach. The price was very fair for everything this rental offers.

Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay, and we would absolutely book again. Highly recommend!

This was our second time staying in this property, We love the size for our group. the block is quite and very clean. the pool is perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. We are already planning our next trip to Port A and are planning to stay in this same house if available.

Best condo house ever
Best place I have ever rented. Everything was provided and amazing. Perfect 2 bdrm home for 2 couples to stay the weekend. The pictures for kitchen do not do it justice, it is a large kitchen. Pool floats provided as well. Will definitely rent again

Quiet jungle oasis
This rental was in a very quiet spot at the end of a cul de sac with very little traffic. We are early to bed and early risers heading to the beach so this was perfect for us. Pool was good size and flocked with beautiful tropical plants. There are two outdoor showers for guest use which made it for a quick rinse off for all the guests. Plenty of room for 6 guests, large bathrooms, well

Winter Escape 2023
Our first Escape MN winter to Port Aransas but will not be our last as we loved the whole experience and area. Port Aransas is a wonderful location and area and has so many places to go and things to see. The house we had rented was updated with kitchen appliances and bathrooms and beds were comfortable and cozy. Only negative we felt about the house is the water temperature in bath and shower. The unit does not have a conventional water heater but one of those new wall mounted box types that apparently heats the water as it goes through it. Takes a long time to get hot water in the shower or tub. The water temperature could be turned up hotter as would have shower on full hot and was hot but not hot enough that you had to adjust it at all and the same as the bathtub. Not a big deal for our overall enjoyment of the place. Pool was fine but would have been much more enjoyable if the water temperature would have stayed between 85 to 90 degrees. The pool heater was set at 90 degrees but the heater adjusts with the air temperature so it the outside temp is in the 50s for a couple days the pool water temp drops to 60s and 70s then when it gets warm outside it takes 2 days to get the pool temp up to the mid 80s. Talked to the people in the rental next door with a pool and they advised the pool temp never changed and was always in the upper 80s or 90. Still more enjoyable than trying to swim in Minnesota. We loved riding bikes all around the area and up the Gulf Beach on a daily basis(weather permitting) Loved the shops and unique restaurants as well as the friendly people we met at the various places we went. The staff at Port A Escapes was wonderful and prompt in responding to e mails the 2 time the pool heater quit working. Port Aransas will now be our winter escape location after 10 years of trying other states and locations. Thank You Port A Escapes and Port Aransas.

Nice place to stay
It was really nice to have a pool, fenced yard, and covered parking. The pool was dirty the day we got there but the pool cleaners came the next day as well as another day while we were there. Overall it was a very nice place to stay.

Fun Family Rental
Stayed as a family of 5 June 2022. Pictures are accurate. House & linens very clean upon arrival. Beds comfortable & kitchen well stocked. Kids loved the pool & basketball goal. We rented a cart from Jackfish & the beach was a quick ride away. We ate at PortA Pizzeria & it was a hit for all ages. Otherwise we made meals at the house. Loved having the outdoor shower/wash area to clean up after the beach & the ability to do laundry. Communication was easy throughout the process. Bring pool/beach towels, hand soap for the kitchen sink, spices & coffee (keurig & regular pot with a few filters). There were a few camp chairs in the storage room but no beach chairs or beach umbrella so bring those if you'd like them. We had a very nice stay.

Great getaway home
We are seasoned VRBO renters. The house is as described. The house is in a great location, on a cul de sac and tucked away from the traffic. The beach is 6 blocks down the street. Beds are comfy, A/C blows cold and the pool was very well maintained.
If you plan to cook, the kitchen is well appointed. It has no spices, salt or pepper so bring everything with you. W/D are downstairsin carport and work great.
The neighboring rental got a little rowdy one night but that was expected on Memorial day. They shut down at a reasonable hour so no foul.
I would say 2 couples max. any more would be "cozy".

Great location and cute house!
We had a nice trip to Port A and enjoyed this little house. The location is great close to both town and beach. Although it was a bit cool outside we enjoyed the pool and outside space. The living and kitchen areas were nice and clean. The beds are a bit firm and the pillows are not great so bring your own pillow and you will sleep well. The Wi-Fi is a challenge on the island so if you plan to work from the house you may have issues. The cable was also out on the island our whole stay. Not the owners fault but something to consider as it sounds like this happens regularly. Overall it was a nice spring break getaway.

Quiet area with a pool minutes from the beach.

Family Friendly Getaway
We absolutely loved staying here!! We had our three year old with us and the house was very child friendly with games, puzzles, and coloring books!

Perfect Gem!
This place was perfect! Nicely updated and decorated - loved the walk in shower. Having our own pool was great and we did use it in between going to the beach. Pet friendly and even had spare poop bags under the kitchen sink...thank you! Only thing I would recommend is a sign in the back area with the putting green posting that it is private property. I watched the people that were staying in the rentals right across the driveway let their dog out to wander into the yard and use it and didn't pick up after it so I did. Beyond that this place is located close to everything. Not close enough for me to walk to the beach but it's just a short drive. Me and my family would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway home
Home was great for our 5 member family. House was very clean and well maintained. The location was just blocks from the center of town. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star review, was that there was no closet in the master bedroom. Not the worse thing, but I do like to hang my clothes, instead of putting them in drawers. Also, the private pool was a great bonus, but the only way to access the pool is by going downstairs and around the house. There is no backdoor that leads you to the pool. By going around the house, you have to utilize the neighbors driveway, so if there's a car parked in front of their door, then it's also parked right in front of the pool access gate. Luckily the neighbor parked further up, so it was not right in front of our gate. Despite these little things though, the house was great for our little family. I would rent this house again.

We are very sorry you missed the main bedroom closet. It's located in the bathroom and is equipped with hangers, an iron, and a laundry basket for your convenience. There are a total of 3 closets in the house. All of which can be used to hang clothes. The owners are eventually going to move the pool gate for easier access. We are so happy you enjoyed the house and look forward to seeing you next time!

Perfect weekend spot!
What a charming getaway, in a perfect little vacation home The house had everything we needed - with the exception of an extra blanket for the pullout. We even had use of laundry on the first floor - where there is corn hole and tables for an evening BBQ. There is a small charcoal grill. Kitchen was fully equipped, with a great working dishwasher. The property is large for 2 bedrooms, with plenty of common areas to socialize. The rare private pool for a 2br was perfect, and quite large in size.
We'll definitely be back!
