Introducing Mystical Mermaid PB222. When you step into this cottage you will know you are at the coast! The great room features vaulted ceilings, well equipped kitchen, dining area with a table for 6, extra seating at the breakfast bar and a living area all open with delightful coastal décor and a split bedroom plan. The primary features a king bed and private bath. On the other end of the home are two bedrooms, one with a queen, one with two sets of twin bunk beds and a shared full bath. THERE IS A BRAND NEW 55" SMART TV IN THE LIVING ROOM. A private breezeway features a sitting area and an outdoor shower for rinsing off. Pirates Bay features landscaped walking paths through the complex, two fabulous slope entry pools, fire pit area and a large kids play area. It is close to many of the restaurants, bars and shops that Port Aransas has to offer. This is not a golf cart accessible property. Parking for 2 vehicles only. STR#514292

- A two-night minimum stay is required.
- Contracting guests must be at least 25 years old. A signed rental agreement with the host and a copy of the contracting guest's drivers license is required
- This is a PET-FRIENDLY RENTAL. Pet fees are an additional $20.00+tax, per pet, per night. A maximum of 3 pets are allowed. Additionally, a pet-cleaning fee is also charged, which is $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days, and $100 for stays of 30 or more days.

Loved the stay. Great communication with the rental company.
I was able to get hold of the company when needed, They were able to take care of our needs immediately! They were very sympathetic with all our medical problems at home! Although things worked out at home, they understood and were ready to help. We have already rebooked for next year! Also due to my health, our unit had no stairs to climb!

Mermaid condo
I really appreciate your providing a hair dryer when I requested it.
The condo is nice and I’d stay there again but a few things could be easily improved. 1. Replace black plastic cooking utensils with stainless steel. 2. Provide a couple of glass bowls for serving food. 3. Have yard crew weed the area inside the gate and remove trash there. This was a problem the last time we stayed in one of your condos. I pulled some of the weeds.
The inside was clean and well done.

Great Location - Overall Great Experience
We enjoyed our stay. Location was great! I would recommend getting some better pillows for all the beds, and thicker mattresses for the bunk beds (they were a little thin and it was like sleeping on plywood). The ceiling fan was broken in the back bedroom and it got a little stuffy. It would also be helpful to have some type of hooks to hang wet clothing/bathing suits or towels in the bathroom.

Cozy, Clean, Pet Friendly Get Away
First, I really appreciate how easy it was to do all the paperwork and to check in, to get in! I've rented other properties and it was utter chaos. This was great and the people were super nice where we got the check in info. The property was very cute, felt roomy with the high ceilings, has a wonderful decor and vibe, and the outdoor shower and private sitting area were wonderful for my sister, myself, and my three legged, wonderful rescue dawg. The place was very well appointed with things we needed, and there was plenty of TP, soaps, etc, even though we brought more just in case. The rooms were laid out well so that we had our own spaces and privacy when we wanted it. The outdoor shower was great for keeping us all clean so there was no mess in the house. We loved the pool too, after spending enough time at the beach, and the location is very nice and convenient to restaurants, the primary store, and to the beach. Check out was fine and there were no surprises in the fees or costs. I highly recommend this place and it was especially a treat for my sister and myself to have a causal hang out, and a first traveling trip for my tripod. All went very smoothly.

Family Spring Break trip
Good location and family friendly. On main road but not far from beach at all. Property was beautiful with everything we needed. Had a toilet issue and they sent someone out immediately to fix.

Nice place to stay
Our cottage was very nice and very roomy & clean. Beautiful decor. Beds were a bit hard & they could put on softer sheets. We had everything we needed here. The pool was nice, although way too small for the amount of people in Pirates Bay & the water was way too warm. There is a second pool but it’s even smaller, so heats up even more. The main issue for us was not being able to have a golf cart. If that’s something your family enjoys and needs to get to beach without having to take your cars down, be warned you can’t drive up the hwy. You have to sneak across and it is illegal so, that was annoying. Other than that, our stay here was wonderful.

Family Friendly Vacation
Neat Layout of the whole complex. Tall Ceilings. Nothing was over exaggerated - no bait and switch. The quality of the amenities were mostly 5 star. The living room TV needs to be replaced - the speakers in the TV are muffled and it needs to be a smart TV with options for Netflix’s and Amazon sign in like the Master Bedroom. I liked all the Decor accents and how the Mermaid and Beach theme all added to the ambiance of the trip. Very comfortable bedding and extra bedding as well. Plenty of towels. Marble Countertops. The fridge was kitchen made for some nice home cooked meals. The WiFi was awesome because my AT&T had only a bar of LTE. The area felt safe - the island felt safe - day and night - it was a safe place. This area will explode with growth soon. The local Restaurants and shops are friendly. Port Arkansas is a jewel but it’s also a community. If you have extra money to spend - spend it while you are there. I’m a business owner myself - so my heart goes out these small time businesses here.

I LOVE Port A and Pirates Bay.
I was overwhelmed by how well this place provided I It provided everything you would need. The kitchen was better equipped than mine at home. The decor was lovely. The landscaping looks better than ever. The perfect place for your home away from home.

A perfect getaway
My family (consisting of myself, husband, and two young children) stayed recently at the Mystical Mermaid for 5 nights. Although a bit large for my small family, I did enjoy having an extra room that the kids could spread out their toys and playthings. The condo was beautiful and clean, and the property was great. Both pools were perfect for kids, offering plenty of shallow area to play in. It is actually my preference to not stay directly on the beach. With icechests, wagons, toys, etc. we would take our vehicle anyways. Plus, property wise, you get more bang for your buck. What I was looking for in a property was: a place with nice pools for the kids, something that had a WOW factor when stepping inside, bunkbeds- cause my kids love them, a washer and dryer, and a place that had plenty of extra space to spread out in. This place delivered! It was everything I had looked for and more. I would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect
Nice property. We had two couples so it worked well for us because the 'master' with a king bed is on one side of the house and the other main bedroom with a queen bed is on the complete opposite side with a bathroom right next to it. Kitchen and living area are nice. We though the pool was awesome. Very clean and in good shape. We arrived after hours and they had a lockbox available for our key. Close proximity to town and the beach. Would recommend.

Fun Stay In Port A
We had a great time staying in the Mystical Mermaid 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Condo. The unit was very clean,and nicely decorated. It was well stocked with dishes and kitchenware. It was great having a room with two sets of bunk beds for our kiddos. The Condos were a short drive to the beach, and only about a 25 minute drive into Corpus Christi. It was everything we wanted out of a Condo, and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Pirate Bay was a hit!
It was a very nice condo. Kids had a great time in the pool. Not too far from beach but wish it was closer. The only problem we had was dishwasher was leaking. The maintenance man was there fairly quickly and the property management gave me a 10% refund which was nice. We enjoyed our stay there and would come back for sure and enjoy the property.

Best stay I've had in Port A
My family and I had a great stay at Pirate Bay. We have decided that this will be our permanent vacation spot on our annual Port Aransas visit.

The mermaid
The mermaid it the one we stayed in it was really beautiful.I love that the the porch area is enclosed kids can run around with out worry. The downfalls were the instructions finding the place could have hinted that it was Pirates Bay was behind the Hyatt we looked every where for this place and we have visited Port Aransas at least every other year. The kitchen needed more plates and bowls. But other than that it was very nice and clean. I would definately go back.

Good place to stay
The cottage was very cute and clean and had almost everything we needed. My only complaint would be the pool. The pool light didn't work at night (which is against OHSA regulations) and it was VERY dirty. My husband is an expert in this area, so we are pretty picky when it comes to pools. Salt pools make their own chlorine, and this pool had practically none. This was not very comforting considering how many children in swim diapers were at the pool, the dead crab I assume someone brought back from the beach, or the trash floating in the pool. It also appeared as if it has not been cleaned thoroughly in quite some time or has a poor filter (this is most likely the reason). The color of the water had a green tinge to it, there was a significant amount of dirt/sand on the bottom of the pool, and there was black algae - which is only from poor maintenace. The pool is a fixable solution, so other than that, it was a really nice place to stay and I would come back.

Mystical Mermaid - Fantastic Experience
We were extremely pleased with this condo. Everything about the stay went well. Everything was remarkably clean, and the decor was fantastic. The condo had everything needed for a stay away from home. I will definitely stay here again.
