Welcome to Pelican Sunrise LC13! The 2nd floor open living room and kitchen area has amazing views of the water, and upgraded kitchen, relaxing furniture and a spacious deck. Upstairs you will find the 1st bedroom with a King size bed, flat screen TV, a full bath, spacious deck with a fabulous gulf view! The 2nd bedroom on this level has a Queen size bed, flat screen TV, and a full bath located just outside the door. Down to the 1st floor you will find a 2nd living area with comfy seating that includes a sofa sleeper, television, 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, flat screen TV, and a full bath. Sorry, no golf carts.
Parking-1 car in the front and 1 small car on the side parallel to the deck. Any other cars especially trucks need to be parked in the overflow parking lot. Parking Rules for Lost Colony 1. There is no the street parking or blocking the common drive. *Each unit has 2 spaces for parking. 2 vehicles maximum per unit including guest parking. 2. Parking a bus, boat, boat trailer, trailer, motorcycle, camper, RV, house trailer, or vehicle over 1 ton anywhere except an approved overflow parking area is not allowed. 3. Leaving and or storing a disabled vehicle on property outside of a personal garage is not allowed. 4. There is no parking allowed in the grass or landscaping. *There is overflow parking. This is located to your right as you drive in the gate.

- Contracting guests must be at least 25 old, have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID, and present throughout the entire stay
- This is a PET-FRIENDLY RENTAL. Pet fees are an additional $20.00+tax, per pet, per night. A maximum of 3 pets allowed. Additionally, a pet-cleaning fee is also charged, which is $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days, and $100 for stays of 30 or more days.
"Pelican Sunrise" is a vacation rental property provided by Port A Escapes, professionally managed to ensure that everything is expertly handled before your arrival, and includes:

Great location
The owners left a "manual" for the house. Very helpful! I suggest to read that as soon as you enter the house! Several reviews stated the deck lights weren't working. After reading the manual, they worked! The house is very close to the boardwalk and beach. This portion of the beach is quiet!! The house was clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. The only drawbacks were 1) the showers are tiny; 2) the bottom "patio" is on a slope and 3) 2 small car parking is tight. However, the overflow parking is very close.

Second Visit to Pelican Sunrise LC13
We absolutely love the location, close proximity to the beach and a community pool. Large and very comfortable for 10 guests. Beds are very comfortable, and kitchen will stocked. Can't rate it a 5 because it needs a refresh, definitely showing its age and wear. Not important, but way too many nick nacks and dust collectors. Gives a cluttery appearance.

Great house and view!
Overall the house is great! Wonderful ocean vie from both balconies. My family loved the house and it was plenty of space for our group. Great proximity to the pool and boardwalk to the beach. A few issues: 1) during the crazy storm on Thursday evening, water was pouring in the front door from bottom and top of the door. 2) string lights on balconies were not working. We followed instruction in the guest book and nothing worked. We really wanted to use those lights. The GFI breaker in the breaker box was missing actually. 3) The pool on Thursday was absolutely filthy. We looked for a pole cleaner because we were going to try to clean it ourselves but nothing available. Again, we had a great time. Mentioning these items in hopes they could be addressed in the future for other guests.

Great location
The location can't be beat. Great proximity to the beach and far enough away from Port A to not have the crowds. House some age on it and critters are definitely around, but the view is amazing. Very spacious home with comfortable beds.

Labor Day couples retreat
This unit has plenty of space and beautiful sunrise views. We had our 2 dogs with us and enjoyed the easy access to the quiet beach. It was much less congested than the actual Port Aransas beach access areas. There are stickers that are on the grassy grounds, so be aware.

Perfect Getaway!
This was such an awesome home. It allowed for all of us to have our private space with separate bathrooms while having an awesome open common area with living , kitchen and dining . The views were outstanding, the walk to the beach on the boardwalk was so easy. We would definitely rent this unit again. It was super clean, lots of hooks and towels and very thoughtful in the decor. One of the better rentals we have stayed at in the area!

FAMILY VACATION
OVERALL WAS GREAT, THIS WAS THE 1ST HOUSE WE RENTED BACK IN 2015 GREAT IMPROVEMENTS, THE BOTTOM OF THE HOUSE DID HAVE A CAROSINE TYPE SMELL, THE LIGHTS ON THE PATIO NEVER WORKED. BUT THE VIEWS WERE SPECTACULAR, KITCHEN HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED.BEACH WAS PERFECT, POOL WAS ALWAYS PRETTY CLEAN. MY FAMILY AND I HAD A GREAT TIME.

Awesome Home-Great Location!
This place looks very much like the pics! Spacious enough for a group of 10. The location, literally just steps away from the beach, is fantastic. Kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking needs. Only one suggestion: if you aren't an early riser you will be here. Three of the 4 bedrooms face the east and the window coverings (blinds) in our opinion aren't enough to keep the sunlight out. Other than that, a great place and we will be returning!

Great location with maybe a minute walk to the beach. Amazing property with wonderful views. Fully stocked kitchen.

Great Stay at the Beach!
Enjoyed the view and the house was perfect.

Best of Both Worlds
Very peaceful.... we were at the beach with that convenient boardwalk, or at the pool just a few steps away, and the balcony view of surf and pelicans lazily gliding made the trip memorable! We loved the unit!
