Picture Perfect View BH308 is a 3rd floor condo, with no elevator access. It offers an open-concept living area provides enough space for your family to sit & relax together. Take a seat and get your favorite drink and your binoculars because this is the place to be. But you don’t just get this view from the balcony. Oh no…you get it from the living room, dining room, kitchen, and the master bedroom. Oh! Did we mention the sunrises are amazing! Nestled in the golden dunes of Mustang Island, Beachhead condos all have awesome gulf views. The complex amenities include a heated swimming pool, community charcoal grills, community game room, a playground, and a private boardwalk to the beach. All units have private balconies to enjoy gulf views and breezes. Pets are not permitted in this unit and smoking is allowed outside only.

Per HOA: Before traveling to Port Aransas/Beachhead Condos, please plan the correct number of vehicles you drive in accordance to the rules below. Properly planning the correct number of vehicles prior to your departure will enhance your vacation experience:
Beachhead Condos allows parking for 2 vehicles maximum. Golf carts do count as vehicles. Violators will be towed by the HOA

Picture Perfect Most Peaceful Place
This condo offered breath taking ocean views. The most peaceful place while sitting on the deck any time of the day. The location had short distance restaurants and shopping. Walking to and from the beach leisurely. The condo was clean and well equipped.
I would recommend this condo and would.most definitely stay again!

My family and I have stayed at this condo three times now, and as I'm sure Beachhead is, we are super bummed about the giant new house that's being built right smack dab in the "Picture Perfect" view. You'll have to change the name of 308 to "Beach View with a Big Annoying House in the Way".

Great beach property
Came to Port A for a family gathering. The room was large enough to accommodate four adults and four children comfortably. with plenty of room for company. Easy access to the beach and the third floor had a wonderful view of the beach and the water. The staff was helpful in setting up the reservation and helping adjust as changes needed to be made. Overall a wonderful stay.

Picture Perfect indeed!
Third time renting Picture Perfect and it has always been the perfect place for mom, dad and two teen boys. It’s got everything you need, perfect location, clean, great access to boardwalk. Management always very responsive to needs!

I think this was our room.#308 picture perfect...
We feel in love with this room, the view was perfect. We sat on the balcony enjoy the air and the view. I wish I could’ve stayed longer but we couldn’t. The first time we came here was just me and my husband, it was on October 27th our anniversary is on October 16th same day as my birthday,but we were able to get away because I had just recently lost my brother. But the trip was perfect... this room was so perfect.. yours truly

Perfect location for us!
Great, great location - right on the corner of the campus with an ocean view. The place was squeaky clean - could use some updates but we didn't go to Port A to stay inside. Relatively walkable to coffee and restaurants. Lost 1 star because there was an issue with our keypad and we were locked out for several hours - when we notified the office, they must've had a staff change and I don't think the messaging was relayed to follow up. It was eventually remedied and all in all we had a wonderful stay. Would definitely return!

Lovely, Relaxing Vacation Choice
This property is conveniently located to town & restaurants. It is very comfortable & well appointed, has great view... both from inside & from the balcony. There is covered parking, boardwalk to the beach...& the management was especially nice & helpful. It’s a truly fun place to stay!

Amazing views!
Our Beachhead condo was exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a great view, close to everything as well as the beach! The private walk to the beach was great! We loved the outside shower and hoses right off the walk so that we didn’t track sand in the condo. My kids also enjoyed the pool, playground, and games near the pool. We enjoyed making several meals at the condo, which had more than enough utensils and what was needed. We would definitely stay here again!

BH 308 is great except for the balcony patio door
The Condo is very nice and this is our second summer staying there. Views from the balcony are the best at Beachhead. The only negative, is that the balcony door is extremely hard to open and close. We had the same issue last summer. The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is the balcony door.

Outstanding stay, great location
Our two families with two small children loved our stay at Beachead. The location near the beach was among the best on the Island. The pool was warm and outstanding. The game room was awesome. The property was a little dated and the deck areas could use some treatment and attention, but overall it was great. Maintenance was immediately responsive to our brief internet outage. Check-in/checkout process was excellent. Perfect size for our group, though additional children would make it too small. Bathrooms were a little small, but were clean and shower was excellent. Kitchen appliances were excellent. Parking was a little tight, but sufficient for two vehicles. Would definitely try to get this unit or the other one closest to the beach in the future, but all units had good views and access to amenities.

Much needed couple getaway.
This vacation home was Great! My husband & I needed a break from work and we couldn't have been happier at Picture Perfect View BH! The name says it all and the view was Amazing! The home was affordable, clean & well stocked with household items and the community was quiet, easy beach accessible, low key, had an amazing pool and was exactly what we needed for our no noise, peaceful evenings getaway. We plan to make this one of our top couple runaway destinations!

Great views from condo and from pool. Enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was very nice. Able to make 2 simple dinners easily in the kitchen. Convenient location to stores/restaurants. Would stay again in #308.

Truly a Picture Perfect View !
When you walk in the door of this Condo, your eyes look across the room and out the balcony windows at an amazing view of the Gulf. All I can say is the interior of the unit is just as beautiful as the view. You will not be disappointed if you elect to stay here. Highly recommend !

Nice room perfect view
This was our first time back to Beachhead in over 20 years. The updates to the room were great, and the view was perfect! This is definitely my go to room for future vacations. The kitchen had plenty of room to enjoy meals together!

Picture Perfect was Perfect!
Had a wonderful stay at 'Picture Perfect View BH 308'! The property 100% matched the pictures and description. Super clean. Very well supplied kitchen. Loved the beach access, and kids also enjoyed the pool. And yes, the view is great! Loved hanging out on the balcony in the morning and evening. Highly recommended.

Fabulous stay!
Comfortable and clean, loved the living area and kitchen was spacious and well appointed. So nice that refrigerator was large and had ice and filtered water, but didn’t seem to have a good seal (things stayed cold but condensation was always present inside). We enjoyed the deck and the easy access to the beach. Had a ball!

Picture Perfect 308 is a Diamond in the Rough!

Our stay at this condo was beyond our expectations. The unit was extremely clean and very welcoming. Not to mention our awesome view of the sunrise in the mornings and listening to the waves throughout the stay! The view was so wonderful. This condo, in my opinion has the best view in the whole Beachhead complex! The owner has the condo so we’ll stocked all you need is your personal belongings and suntan lotion! The beds are so comfy you think you never left home! Did I mention this is the only heated pool in Port A that your in-the water and you can see the gulf! Oh yes!! It’s a spectacular
view. Plus they have a Shore room if you need more space to watch a different T.V. Program or play some games, it’s available to guests!

It’s a short walk down to the beach on the boardwalk, and your on the beach. Beachhead is beach marker 4 and the only bar on the beach is The Beach Lodge, marker 9. Just a short walk!

We only had to call Port A Escapes once for a problem and they were right there. We are very happy with their service.

We will be back for our 5th year! Enjoy!

Good Location
Overall a nice place. Some of the furniture is dated and the bathrooms need a deep clean (shower, tub, floors). Nice view from the porch (which is closed) and the pool. Good walk over beach and short drive to a beach access point for a vehicle. Need car or golf cart to get to restaurants.

location was great loved the vibe of the condo very cozy, beautiful view & clean. Property was wonderful pool. Awesome ocean view from pool & game room to entertain two teen age boys was great. Will be back for sure. Loved our stay....

Port A Vacation
We really enjoyed our stay and the location of the condo is perfect! The views from the condo across the marsh and to the beach are stunning. We also enjoyed the fact that (in July anyway) the balcony had shade most of the day. We had fun in the communal game room and at the pool. Only issue was the barbecue pits were all located in standing water so we were unable to use them. We cooked in the condo instead. We had one maintenance issue during our stay (our fault) and someone came out right away on Friday night to fix it. We definitely recommend this condo and will stay there again!

Spectacular Getaway!!
This was the best condo I’ve ever stayed at in Port A! The view was amazing and the condo was very clean/taken care of, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend 308!!

Sara at the office was very helpful! I had to change the payment card for our remaining payment and we arrived late the day of check in and she was always VERY accommodating!

Beautiful Beach Escape
The condo was extremely clean. We mostly stayed in and enjoyed the views from our room . The pool area is so inviting and relaxing; we did utilize the pool area. Overall it was a great getaway for the weekend. The only thing we will do is check in on Saturday. We arrived late on Friday night so we didn’t get to enjoy it as long and checkout was at 11am so we felt rush. But overall a “10.” Thank you!

Hands Down...amazing as always!
I've been coming to Beachhead 308 for over 15 years. It never disappoints. The view is incredible from whatever room you decide to park yourself in. The location...you feel like you are all alone in this quiet place and then poof you drive or bike to 11th
st and find yourself in the heart ofeverything Port A! Then there is the total remodel and that is the cats meow. Not only is everything really pretty but comfortable. The beds, the couches, the dining area. Some places look good but aren't comfy so this has
been a treat. The game room and pool area are a nice cherry on top.

It was perfect
This is a perfect vacation condo. The furnishings are very comfortable, the bed and linens are awesome, the wide-open layout and big windows enhance the view of the beach, and it is right next to the boardwalk.

Great view and nice to be able to walk to the beach. Picture Perfect could use a little updating-window blinds and lock on balcony door. PP had everything we needed for a nice stay at Port A.

The best view of the ocean!
Yes, this unit is a little outdated, but we didn't care. It wasn't so outdated that we were uncomfortable. If you really care about the color of cabinets and stove then this isn't the place for you. Everything worked and was clean. The couch is a sofabed but it was covered by a cover since the cushion was ripped. Again, that didn't bother us. This unit has the best view of the ocean and was closest to the boardwalk gate which is what we were looking for.

Beautiful view
The kitchen and the carpets in this condo could use some updating, but otherwise it was what we have come to expect from Beachhead condos. Clean rooms, clean linens, the easiest access to the beach and the best view from the balcony.

Great place to stay
The grounds and the unit were very well kept...clean and had everything we needed. The deck facing the beach was great. The boardwalk to the beach wasn't too long. The beach was well maintained . The kids loved the pool. It was comfortable. We will return.

OVerall the experience was fine. There's HUGE differences in the condos. Some are still furnished from the 1970s while others have nice remodels...all at the same price.

We LOVED the view and the quiet from the front porch. Definitely in need of updates, however. No room for our food in kitchen, uncomfortable sofa and chairs, scratchy sheets and stained carpet. We very much enjoyed our stay but would even have paid a little more if upgraded.
