Description Description
Every bedroom in Sol to Soul LC1 has its own ensuite bath and an excellent TV entertainment package (HBO, Showtime, Starz and Sports Networks) This home has 2 living areas. The ground floor offers a living room with a flat-screen TV, two queen bedrooms, both with ensuite baths with walk-in showers. The second floor offers a living room, full kitchen, dining, two king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Sorry, no pets, no golf carts allowed.
Due to the extreme risk to individual safety and property, city ordinance strictly prohibits the use of any type of cooking grills within 10' of a rental home, and never on any decks or balconies. Violators are subject to significant fines from the city and are responsible for all damage and liabilities. In addition to penalties enforced by the city, any renter that is caught violating the ordinance will be subject to a $1,000 fine by Lost Colony. Please help ensure a safe stay for you and all of those around you by adhering to this ordinance.

Parking Rules for Lost Colony
1.There is no parking allowed in the street or blocking the common drive. 2 vehicles maximum per unit including guest parking.
2.Parking a bus, boat, boat trailer, trailer, motorcycle, camper, RV, house trailer, or vehicle over 1 ton anywhere except an approved overflow parking area is not allowed.
3. Leaving and or storing a disabled vehicle on property outside of a personal garage is not allowed.
4.There is no parking allowed in the grass or landscaping.
5.Using another owner's driveway to park is not allowed. There is overflow parking. This is located to your right as you drive in the gate.

Not a great stay
I have stayed several times with this rental company, never gad problems until this year. No wifi, light bulbs out, air conditioner leaked, grill was broken and the shower handle broke, couldn't turn water off to shower, they came and replaced handle, then it could not turn water on in the shower

Great place
This was our 2nd time to stay at Sol to Soul. It's a beautiful place and very comfortable. The only thing we could see that needs to be fixed is the faucet in the master bath shower is very hard to turn.

Second time staying at this Diamond in the rough. I personally would call it my personal favorite. It's aged a bit, but hey, so have we. We can see ourselves coming back here when our kids have grown.

Lots and lots of furniture in the home.
The location and beach access are great. The house itself is a bit dated with their furnishings. Our King bed was concaved downward near the center of the bed and there wasn't much give to the mattress. The other King bed was broken and uneven. Our washer did not work as expected making it hugely inconvenient to keep our clothes clean. The refrigerator appears to have a leak. Lastly, the furniture is old, dated and not very comfortable. This is a lovely home but with a few improvements, it can go a long way to making it a more pleasant experience. The floor plan could be opened up and making more space for the guest by reducing the need for unwanted furniture.

Great place to stay
Great place to stay. Here are the tips for the owner: give the guest the gate and door code 1 day in advance and program it for checkin/ checkout. (We didn’t receive it until 1.5 hrs after checkin and we were traveling creating even more stress.) also, have an answering service available especially during off hours (we couldn’t get a hold of anyone on day of check in and they didn’t call back until the next day). Add blackout curtains. Add dish soap. Add laundry detergent. Add bug spray. COMMUNICATE!!! With your guests prior to arrival. Aside from that everything else was great

We are very sorry for your experience. We are unable to provide door codes until the day of arrival, as they are not generated until then for all guests safety. We are open 7 days a week. We do have an after hours service and we are reachable 24 hours a day. We supply a starter supply of soaps for all guest. We do thank you for your feedback and hope to see you again soon.

Great place to stay!
Sol to Soul was a lovely home. We especially enjoyed having a bath for every bedroom, proximity to the beach, an open kitchen/dining/living area. In spite of a storm that kept us from the beach after the first day, we found plenty to do. Dinners at Fins and Trout Street were excellent. Also the management was very responsive and helpful.

Lots of space
My family and I have stayed here for 2 summer vacations now. Total enjoy the beach house - there is plenty of space for the 6 of us (and kids) and the walkable location to the beach is perfect. having the pool available is a nice change up from being at the beach everyday. We had an air conditioner issue and management quickly responded and corrected the problem.

Get-a-way to beach!
Property was as described by management. We enjoyed the privacy of the beach. Very relaxing location for a family. Not too far from neighboring towns, so if younger children get bored, there are activities for them. We enjoyed the time spent there. Thank you!

We loved Sol to Soul! The location was wonderful, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the breeze on all of the patios was wonderful. We loved that each bedroom has its own bathroom! It's a wonderful place to stay!

Perfect for our family
So much to love about this place! Each room had its own bathroom which was perfect for our family (grandparents, aunt/uncle, me and my small children). The very short walk to the beach was SO convenient, especially for a family with small kids. We could set up all day on the beach but the rental was just steps away if we needed something like bathrooms, a nap, snacks; etc. The kitchen was really well stocked and we enjoyed cooking together. Will definitely be back.

Great Stay!!!
Had a great stay with family! The rental was clean, beds were comfy. We’ve been here several times and we keep coming back because the Lost Colony location is perfect....just a few steps to swimming, fishing and relaxing on the beach.

Great stay with the family
Wonderful location just down from the busy beach areas. Condo was very well aintained, large and roomy and good view of the ocean. Easy to get to anything you need.

Sol to Soul - Lost Colony
This is our 4th year staying at Lost Colony. We love the location and the convenience to the beach. I also love that because of the location the beach is not crowded. This was our first stay in the Sol to Soul house. The set up was perfect for our family. Each family had their own room and bathroom. The downstairs living area was also perfect for the kids. There was a wet spot in the ceiling near the kitchen which indicated there may be a leak. One of the master bedrooms upstairs was very hot while the rest of the house was cool. Also the only bathtub in the home did not have a drain plug which made it difficult to bathe the little ones. My only concern with the resort property was the lack of upkeep of the grounds. The flower beds were overgrown and in need of mowing. The stickers were really bad everywhere which made walking through the grass hard. The stickers stuck to shoes which then ended up inside.

Hi Sherry, I just wanted to let you known that the leak was addressed and the AC unit has been fix. The drain plug was placed in the bath tub. The Lost Colony now has an onsite maintenance and grounds keeper and he has done a wonderful job keeping the landscape beautiful. We look forward to booking your next beach vacation getaway.

It was a great beach house that was very close to the beach. The view from the upper deck was amazing.

My entire family cane there was a bed for everyone there was ample room for everyone we had a great time with no problems staff was exceptional my go to person is Harry he’s the best thank you we have booked another week in may for 2021 can’t wait

Port A beach house
This is the second time me and my family have stayed at this house. The location is great, we love that all 4 bedrooms have their own bathroom. It was very clean when we arrived, and we enjoyed our stay very much!

Sol to Soul
This was a great rental with a lot of room and a nice patio. I would have liked a better ocean view. I would stay here again. Not too far from town so it was very convenient.

Some of the ceiling did not work well or maybe we just couldn’t figure them out!

The door lock was a punch type lock which was also very convenient for everyone.

Port Aransas Family Trip July 2019
We rented Sol to Soul and the property was Amazing. Great Location, Beautifully decorated and very comfortable for our large group. Great view of the beach and ocean. Very quiet community. The house is a very short walk to the beach boardwalk and was great for our young grand children. They also enjoyed the pool. House was clean and we loved the fact that each bedroom had a private bath and they were all recently remodeled. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes/utensils and bedding & towels were very nice. We will definitely rent this property again.

Family Beach Getaway
Very enjoyable. Short walk to the beach. Nice view of the ocean. Nicely updated kitchen and yes, we fix all our meals there. Spacious and comfortable living area and outdoor patios. Updated bathrooms too. Only complaint I heard was that the madter bedroom could use a new mattress. T’was wonderful holiday!

Feedback re our stay
There were six of us and we had more than enough space.
Liked that we had our own bathrooms. Clean- kitchen well stocked.
Needed more towels but all was nice. Close access to beach.

TAYLOR,RIOS,HERNANDEZ FAMILY VACATION
DESPITE A FEW MINOR ISSUES,ANT PROBLEM IN KITCHEN,WASHER HAD SOME ISSUES AFTER THE 1ST.NIGHT KEEP RESTARTING ITSELF.
THE STAY THE HOSE WAS AWESOME. MY WHOLE FAMILY LOVED THE LOCATION,THE HOUSE STAYED COOL SOME WHERE COMPLAINING HOW COLD WHICH WAS GREAT COMPARED TO OUR LAST STAY. THE PANTRY WAS GREAT! THE BATHROOMS WERE GREAT. KITCHEN WAS WELL STOCKED. THE DECK/KITCHEN VIEW WAS SPECTACULAR!! OVER ALL STAY WAS THE BEST TIME EVER. COUCHES ARE A LITTLE DATED BUT WAS VERY CLEAN WHEN WE ARRIVED, EXCEPT SOME DIRTY TOWELS IN THE WASHER. THANKS TO THE OWNERS WHO RENT OUT THEIR HOME AND TO PORT A ESCAPES ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH THEM STAFF IS AWESOME. WOULD STAY AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT.

Awesome Retreat
This property provided great space to have alone time and even better space for fellowship to be with our friends. The kitchen was well equipped. However not directly on the beach the access to was convenient and still had awesome views. The common areas were very clean.

sister weekend
We love this place so much! Easy access to the beach and very quiet community. Very relaxing and enjoyable and the sunrises are.amazing! A little stuffy in couple.of.rooms but overall bad. The beAch area could.use some cleaning early in the morning. Not.sure who is responsible.
