Rent your own piece of beach paradise and enjoy THE GOOD LIFE! This 2 story Beach Side Gem boasts 3 large bedrooms with 3 ensuite bathrooms. The 1st floor of this home has a spacious living room with a large flat screen TV, fully stocked kitchen with granite counters, dining area, & extra bar seating. Also on the 1st floor is Bedroom 1, with a king bed, large screen TV, full bath and patio access. Upstairs you will find the 2 additional bedrooms. Bedroom 2 offers a king bed, large screen TV and private bath. Bedroom 3 upstairs has 2 twin over full bunk beds, an air hockey table, TV and private bath. Enjoy the ocean breezes, sunrises and sunsets because both of these rooms have doors that lead to the 2nd floor deck with hammocks! THE GOOD LIFE also boasts an enormous driveway that allows an exclusive boat trailer parking space in addition to guest parking. There is also a basketball goal. The neighborhood beach boardwalk is golf cart friendly! It is also less than a mile to the golf course at La Palmilla and just minutes to Port Aransas where you will find great dining, shopping and family fun! SMOKE FREE HOME. Perfect weekend away for a fraction of the cost of the fancy community just down the road. Kitchen was extremely well stocked. Lots of beach toys also provided.

Very Comfortable
The Good Life property was an overall an excellent value. The kitchen was well stocked, all rooms were neat and clean, the showers were strong and the washer/dryer worked flawlessly. Beach access is very convenient just down the street and across the boardwalk. Basketball, beach toys and air hockey were enjoyed by all. We have used Port A Escapes several times and their service is top notch.

Family Retreat
Our Family does one major beach trip to Port A once a year. We have rented other homes in town, but never outside of town. And when I say "outside of town" I use this phrase lightly. It is actually the perfect distance. The area was quiet, rast access to beach, home was super clean,and driveway is massive. We will rent this home again. We were Super Happy wit this choice.

My family and I enjoyed this house very much. My grandchildren loved the air hockey that was in their room. The house was stocked with everything we needed for cooking for our family. (no crockpot, however) Very nice floorplan.

"The Good Life" was the perfect house for our annual Port A trip. Not too big, not too was just right! The house was clean and well stocked. Plenty of parking. Beds were comfortable. We had a minor plumbing issue on day one, but the management company was on top of it almost immediately and had the issue resolved in less than an hour. Excellent service! The only irritation came from the climate control being on a timer and automatically changed at certain times of day. Guests are locked out from adjusting the program. I don't need an icebox, but as a hot sleeper, this was an issue at night. Otherwise, great house, great location, great value!

Excellent family getaway spot!!
This home is perfect for a family getaway! We stayed for 3 nights and can’t wait to return. The home was perfect in every way...super clean, fully stocked, updated, and just beautiful. You can definitely tell the owners value their guests experience. Quick walk to the beach and a binder with all the local places you would ever need from resultants to golf cart rentals. We took advantage of the dolphin tour, parasailing, and rented a golf cart to get around. Neighborhood was safe and quiet, kids loved the provided beach toys, basketball hoop and the air hockey table. There was a clean grill, stocked kitchen with spices and seasonings, cleaning supplies the whole nine plus the outdoor shower that certainly came in handy after the beach. The home and decor were immaculate with awesome picture spots all over the place. Check In/Out was a breeze. Thanks for making our annual family trip the best one yet...we seriously can’t wait to return!!!!!

Awesome house for families

AMAZING Home and community
We've stayed at many beach houses and communities... this one beats them all. The home was the perfect size for our family of 4 kids, dog, mom and dad! The community is quite (major plus) compared to the tourist jammed resorts nearby. Walk to the beach is short and enjoyable (due to the community). We are already planning our return.

Perfect rental
We had a fantastic experience at this house! Very clean, nice decor, well stocked kitchen, and roomy bedrooms. The owner even shipped back some items we left behind after checkout. The beach is a quick 5 minute walk and you’re not too far from town either. We would definitely stay here again!

The perfect trip at a wonderful house
This is our third stay at The Good Life. We come often to Port Aransas and have stayed in many of the homes in Mustang Royale and Port Royale. We always try to book this house whenever it is available because it's our favorite! We love the neighborhood and the house is in a great location - just down from the pool and a short walk to the dune crossover to the beach. The home is perfect for our family. The owners have added so many nice touches and conveniences. For example, the cabinet is full of spices and the kitchen has all the utensils and pots and pans that you will need. We tend to cook in as the restaurants are PACKED and the waits are long during the high season, so having a stocked kitchen is appreciated. My kids love the bunk room, the basketball goal, porch swings and foosball table. We love that the owners allow pets! If this house is available and you are able to stay here, I recommend grabbing it! If you don't, someone else will.

Beautiful beach house!
We absolutely loved our stay at the beach house! Everything was so perfect! They thought of everything! Games, books, lots of much needed supplies as well as plenty of seating outside and on the balcony! The driveway is big enough for vehicles and golf cart with room for the kids to play games! And so close to the beach!

Wish I could give more stars!!!
We stayed for a weekend getaway for my daughters 16th birthday. The house was exceptionally clean from the kitchens, bedrooms to the bathrooms - fully stocked kitchen, plenty of room and a great boardwalk to the beach. Cute decor and kitchen tableware. Five teen girls loved the upstairs balcony with the hammock chairs! Definitely a weekend to remember and we will be back!

Great House!
Beautiful and clean! The beds were cozy and comfortable and all rooms came with their own bathroom. Nice not having to share with the rest of the family. Great water pressure in the shower which you usually don't get with a rental.
Kitchen well stocked. Big charcoal BBQ for those of you who like to Q. Close to the beach. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Perfect vacation
This was one of the nicest VRBOs we’ve stayed in. Moms n kids weekend. The kids room is a must. Only complaint is the wireless doesn’t work in the kids room. This day n age it’s a requirement for kids. Everything else was beautiful and perfect. Also the nail in the stairs is still there but we put a blanket over it. I’m glad we got a golf cart for the ride to the beach. Otherwise I would’ve been worn and exhausting by the time we got there.

Exceptional experience in The Good Life
We have been wanting to stay in this particular house and it stays booked up during peak season. For good reason! It was worth the wait! We shared the house with another family and, between us, we had 4 boys ages 9-10. The spacious bunk room was PERFECT for them, with balcony access, bunks, TV and air hockey. This home had so many small, elegant touches and that made it one of the best houses we have ever rented, anywhere. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay convenient and fun and also made lots of great dining recommendations. The house is close enough to walk to the beach but it's also fun to rent a golf cart to zip around. Our boys brought their scooters and had fun running around the neighborhood, too. We had a magical stay and will definitely be back. The fact that dogs are welcome is a big bonus. Our golden doodle LOVED the beach! This was our 3rd stay in the last 6 months in the Mustang Royale / Royal Sands neighborhood. You can't beat the location. Adorable neighborhood, close to the beach (walking distance), and away from the crowds.

Perfection in Port A
Wonderful beach house that is beautifully decorated. Everyone slept well on the comfortable mattresses. House could sleep two families with two masters and a bunk room for kids. Lots of places for kids to fish and walk safely. Truly enjoyed this beautiful home with quick beach access. Lots of restaurants around for pick up or eating in. 5 stars!

Great vacation spot in Port A for family
Great vacation spot in Port A for family with older kids, nice yard and activities to keep them busy outside of the beach. We had everything we needed for meals and nice recommendations to eat out. THe balcony with 4 hammocks was my favorite spot to relax. Very clean and recently remodeled in great condition.

The Good Life is Good For Sure!
This was a great house in a neat little community that has beach access. We walked to the beach every day and it seemed to be a quieter part of the beach. Restaurants & shopping were within easy driving distance. The house was well equipped and super cute. The pictures were well representative of the home. The only negative is that we like to sleep cold, and it was that it was a little warm at night, due to restrictions on the AC. If you like to sleep cold, I would suggest bringing a fan. Other than that, it was great & we would stay here again!

Lovely weekend
The house was wonderful. Lots of bedroom/bathroom space. A great deck upstairs to hang out on. The walk to the beach was not that far. The kitchen and bath was stocked more than expected. Had spices and also a blow dryer. Would have liked the ice maker to be left on, took a long time to produce ice so you should bring some. Only negative was there wasn't a lot of sofa space (only 4 people) so if you have more people, they will be sitting at kitchen table or bar stools.

The Good Life was Great
We arrived on a Friday and departed on Monday. My wife and I, our daughter and son-in-law and our toddler grandchild had a wonderful stay at this excellent property. We were completely comfortable and unencumbered with any any issues except to find ways to spend a great time together. Thanks for offering a quality property at a fair price. It was just a quick walk to the beach, and was easy even for the two year old.

Great beach house for the family
Stayed here with the family for 4 nights in August and it was perfect. House was clean when we arrived and was equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cups and the starter kit of paper towels, soap and a few dishwasher pods was perfect! It's a great location- walkable to the beach. We didn't even need a golf cart to get to the beach, which was great. Highly recommend this rental if you're looking for something in a quiet location that's within walking distance to the beach!

Loved the house, great location
The house was exactly as described and was perfectly clean and well maintained. It is a beautiful home and we were very comfortable. We're already planning another trip to Port Aransas and will want to stay here again.
We were especially impressed with Port A Escapes management of the property. We received an abundance of emails with all necessary details for checking in/out and what we should bring. We had a plumbing issue in the house with water backing up in the tub and toilet on the main floor. Port A Escapes handled the problem quickly and efficiently.

We definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful place to stay
We went to Port Aransas over the Mother’s Day weekend and stayed at The Good Life. In spite of the rain, we had a wonderful time with our daughter, son-in-law and our 2 teen age grandsons.

When you drive up, you see a two story blue home with wrap around porches on each level. Colorful Adirondack chairs greet you on the front porch. The landscaping is well maintained.

The beach house had plenty of room for us. There is a bedroom downstairs with a king bed and a bath. Upstairs are two very spacious bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. One upstairs bedroom has a king size bed. The other has two sets of bunk beds.

The bathrooms were all spotless, as was the entire house. The kitchen was wonderful. It has granite counter tops and white cabinets. We had everything we needed in the way of amenities and appliances. The eating area has a table that seats 6 comfortably. There is also seating at the kitchen counter. The living area has two comfy couches and a large screen TV. There are also TV’s in the bedrooms. Washer and dryer are located in the hall outside the Master bedroom.

The wrap around porches, both upstairs and downstairs, were wonderful. Sitting outside in the evening was great. The beach is very close. You can walk or rent a golf cart and drive it directly from the house to the beach via a wide wooden boardwalk, located at the end of the block. There is also a community pool right down the street.

The home is very well maintained, both inside and outside. The beds are comfortable. There is plenty of closet and drawer space in all the bedrooms. The beach themed decor is tastefully done. We will definitely return to The Good Life and highly recommend it.

A beautiful house
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house itself is new feeling and beautiful. Very comfortable beds. The beach is walking distance but can be a haul for young children or others so consider renting a golf cart if you don't want to walk.

It is the good life!
The Good Life is the perfect name for a get away here. The house is so awesome and charming. The decor is super cute and makes me feel right at home. And access to the beach is perfect. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, comfortable, relaxing
The Good Life lived up to it's name. The house is beautiful! The kitchen is well equipped, the beds were VERY comfortable. The place looks brand new, it's quite and a very short walk over the boardwalk and your toes are in the sand. The home exceeded our expectations on every level. We hope to stay here again soon.
