Description Description
The Sassy Crab MV1D is located in the heart of Old Town Port Aransas and just a 3 minute drive to the beach! The primary bedroom is a king bedroom on the ground floor with an en suite bathroom. Upstairs you will find a queen bedroom, the 3rd bedroom will have 2 twin over full bunk beds. This cottage is within walking distance to the city park, and marina, restaurants, shops and nightlife. After a nice long day at the beach enjoying the surf, sand and sun you can head on back to your cottage and take a dip in the beautiful community pool or cool off under the palapa. Mercer Village also offers community grills, you can bring your catch and serve dinner! This location is golf cart accessible. There are 2 assigned parking spaces for this unit. 3-night minimum required for Summer bookings. Dogs permitted! Pet fees are an additional $20.00 per night, per pet. This rental allows two dogs maximum. No smoking!
PER HOA: POOL IS CLOSED EVERY TUESDAY FOR CLEANING. The maximum occupancy for this condo is 10 persons. This does include children of all ages. STR# 381799

- Contracting guests must be at least 25 years old, have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID, and be present throughout the entire stay
- This is a PET-FRIENDLY RENTAL. Pet fees are an additional $20.00+tax, per pet, per night. A maximum of 2 pets is allowed. Additionally, a pet-cleaning fee is also charged, which is $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days, and $100 for stays of 30 or more days.

Perfect Family Vacay
We had the best time at this house! The bunk room was great for kids, and the downstairs was clean and spacious, enough room for everyone to enjoy dinner at the table, and time together. Laundry and pantry were great, fabulous location close to town and the beach!

Great place for the family
We enjoyed staying at the Sassy Crab. It has a great open feel with plenty of seating for the family. The decor is perfect and not overdone.
The beds are firm, but nice. Master bedroom is very spacious and located on the lower level. All other BR are on the second level. We found ocillating
fans throughout the house for added comfort! The outdoor shower area is perfect for cleaning off the sand from the beach. We had great communications with management. This is the first time we have stayed on this end of the island and we found the beach to be less crowded and very convenient to the house. We enjoyed a great time with our family.

Wonderful stay
Overall, our stay was wonderful. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. Our only complaint is that it was 89 degrees upon entering the house and it took the entire first night to cool down. The Master never fully cooled down either as it was the warmest room in the house the entire stay (Thermostat at 70 and 3 fans going in there, too). Another thing to mention would be that both bunk beds in the upstairs room were very wobbly. It made us nervous letting our kids sleep in them. Again, the overall stay was nice; it was clean, had a great location, it was a quiet area, etc. just felt the AC and bunk beds were worth mentioning.

We loved the rental. Location was excellent for our liking. The only complaint I would say was there wasn’t any extra blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and anything extra thing we didn’t think of taking. We had to share bbq pits with three other families which was weird but hey we did wish we had to to enjoy our stay. Thank port an escapes for their service and keeping us on track.

Coastal cottage
We had so much fun. The rental was in a great location. There needs to be a code on pool gate because there was a group of people who showed up around 9am and stayed the entire day at pool then left around 4pm and they were not residence of the property. So we weren't able to use the pool that day. But other than that we had a blast!

In the Middle of Everything in Port A
I brought my daughter and her friends to Port A for a quick surf trip before the became Freshman in High School. We all liked the convenience of the location to restaurants, ice cream, and some shops, plus it was an easy drive to the beach. The unit was modern, clean, had a downstairs primary and two upstairs rooms. The girls camped in the bunk bed room and I was in the primary. We had a great time at the Sassy Crab

Great rental
We really enjoyed our stay at The Sassy Crab. The unit was clean, decorated nicely and had everything you'd need in the kitchen. The location was great for getting to restaurants and shopping and a short drive to the beach. We enjoyed the on-site pool and the outdoor shower for rinsing off from the beach. The check-in/out process involved stopping at the mgmt company's location to get/return the keys vs. a keypad but it was close by and not a huge deal. We arrived late and were able to get the keys from a lockbox at the mgmt company. I’d definitely stay here again.

Excellent Cottage/Condo and Location
The size and layout of the house was perfect for the 8 of us (6 adults & 2 kids) and was pet friendly. The location was also perfect as it was within walking distance to our favorite restaurants and just a short drive to the beach. We enjoyed the community pool. We appreciated having an outdoor area to rinse off after the beach. We wished the master bedroom would have been cooler for sleeping and the master bath sink had more water pressure.

It was great!
The cutest place in a great central location. We walked or rode a golf cart everywhere we went. Also, this property is dog friendly and super clean!

Worked out well
The house was clean, conveniently located, comfortable, well layer out for our family (4 adults 2 kids) everything worked. No complaints.

Sassy Crab Stay
Great experience. Good value, walking distance from everything, loved being able to see the town in different ways and be close enough to walk to any restaurant or bar we wanted to.

Our stay at The Sassy Crab
Everything was Awesome! The cottage was perfect for our family. We got there and it was very clean and had everything we needed.

The location was perfectly in the middle of everything.

I would definitely recommend staying here!

Awesome place
The rental was perfect and met and exceeded our expectations. Spotless clean and very tastefully furnished and decorated. It had everything we needed and we would definitely stay there again.

We will return!
I had planned this trip for 8 members of my family but it ended up being a trip for me, my sister, and my mom, so we had an abundance of room. At the last minute we brought my moms Borderdoodle, so we were glad this place was dog friendly. The rental was in pristine condition and in a perfect location between the beach and local eateries and boutiques. It was nice and quiet. I really appreciated the outdoor showers, the small appliances and utensils in the kitchen, and the community pool for nigh time swims. During our stay, we saw retired couples, families with small children, and families with teenage children. 10/10 recommend, and will return!

Nice and new
We had a great time. The house is new and nicely decorated with a well-stocked kitchen! We appreciated the dog bowls and little extras everywhere! My only suggestion would be to add a dish rack (maybe there was one but I didn't find it). Other than that the kitchen had everything we needed. We usually stay on the beach (walking distance) but it was no problem. This house is close to everything else. There's not a lot of places to walk your dog to relieve himself, but we managed. Thank you!

Location! Location! Location!
Easy access to everything Port A in a brand new place! We walked to local eateries and nightlife because they were that close. Master with a walk-in shower on the ground floor was a big plus. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need/want. Easy place to work remotely and enjoy port A. We will definitely be back!
