Footprints in the Sand PV6501 is a beautiful property that has panoramic views of the Gulf Coast, private pool and an optional heated spa**!!
As you enter the main living area you immediately are welcomed with the amazing Texas Gulf Coast views! The interior of Footprints in the Sand features a full gourmet kitchen which includes a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, cooktop and oven, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender, and an arrangement of cooking accessories that will make any chef smile. Our large living and dining area is located on the top floor with amazing ocean views. We offer a laundry room with a washer and dryer plus a utility sink. Footprints in the Sand offers 4 bedrooms each with king sized beds and amazing water views, plus a cozy bunk area all designed with an elegant beach flair. The primary bedroom offers a king size bed. 3 other guest bedrooms have king size beds with a twin daybed. The downstairs studio area offers a fun spot for kids to hang out. There is a twin size bunk bed plus a twin daybed. Enjoy a day at the beach and come back and enjoy the private home swimming pool. There is an outdoor shower to use once you get back from a day at the beach. We even have a little area for younger children to swim too. Prepare meals using the outdoor charcoal grill while your guests are swimming. *Hot tub can be heated for an additional $100 +tax per night for the duration of your stay.* Come stay at Footprints in the Sand and make your vacation a memorable one! We do not allow smoking or pets at this property! These rules are strictly enforced. Please be aware that we do have external cameras at the front overlooking the driveway. STR#: 2024:302400

Foorprints in the Sand was a wonderful choice for our family. It's walking distance to the beach and has a great pool/spa. The home is well appointed and beautiful. The view is amazing! We would like to book it again.

Memorial Day weekend at Footprints in the Sands
Had a great time for the second time at PV6501. The pool is just right for the kids. Probably return next year. Had a great time at the beach which is a short walk, did not have to drive. There were a lot more dishes and silver wear this time. I would like to see an updated grill. The bath rooms were great, could use some towel racks. Everything was clean and ready.

Secluded family getaway
This home is perfect for a family getaway! It features two spacious balconies perfect to see the pool and beach! It's only a few steps from a private boardwalk to access the beach. The upstairs features a master bedroom and kitchen which was so welcoming when preparing meals and hanging out with the family. It's located only 10 minutes from town where you can access shopping and restaurants. The family had a blast and we look forward to staying here again!

Exceptional property
We loved this property. This is our 9th year to come for our family vacation. After staying in many different properties, this one is our favorite. Everything you need and more. So much space to stretch out. The pool and hot tub were clean and perfect. We enjoyed it many times during the day. The view is amazing and relaxing. So much to offer. Can’t wait for our next trip back to Port A.

Beautiful house that is perfectly located. Easy walk to the beach that is very low populated. House had everything we needed for our multi family vacation. Pool was a great way to end a nice day at the beach! Would 100% stay here again.

Family Port A Trip
Our family loved where we stayed and are thinking about booking again next summer. Location is private and is easy access to the beach. House was spacious with plenty of room for everyone. Property could use some upkeep as the AC couldn’t keep up, patio door was difficult to open and close on the upper deck and the dishwasher upper rack was broken. Also, the hot tub kept draining all the way into the pool making the pool very hot and really not very pleasant. However these issues would not prevent us from renting again.

We are sorry for your experience. The pool contractor came on Tuesday of your stay and then came on Friday, the day you departed. Trash is picked up in that neighborhood once a week on Fridays.

Footprints in the Sand has a very nice location. Close to Port A and the island. A very secluded location with a 10 minute walk to the beach.

The pool is very kid friendly. However no shade provided morning to mid afternoon. No cushions on the pool furniture and 2 wicker lounges were falling apart.
For the price we expected more amenities. There was only one towel per person for the entire stay of 4 days. Also no towel racks or hooks to hang up wet bathing suits in shower.
For a house that sleeps 15, the amount of pots and pans was not adequate. Some needed replacing as they were rusty and unusable.
We did enjoy our stay, some of the above mentioned items need to be addressed.

Wonderful home and stay
Home is fantastic. Everything was clean and well kept. We had two minor issues which management addressed promptly. In one case, a repairman was at the home within a half-hour! I would stay there again.

Footprints in the Sand
Excellent house and location. We had 8 adults & 6 kids. The house was just lovely, in a perfect location, and the pool was wonderful. The kitchen had everything we needed including a crock pot, the beds were comfortable, the house was quite, & we'd stay there again in a heartbeat! Loved it. Beautiful home. I'd highly recommend it and Port A Escapes is my go to in Port A!

Great Family Vacation Home
Where to start, communication was great. Kids loved the pool, adults loved the hot tube. The walk to the beach is great. House is amazing and plenty of room, clean

Great for large families
We've stayed several places in Port A, but this is our favorite house. Very open and spacious for a large group. We had 8 adults and 6 children. Short walk to the beach, which was important to us with the small kids. And the pool was the perfect size for them, they all enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend!
